I finally got my car restored! So because of this I'm going to take a walk down memory lane to show you what its taken to get here. This is how it looked in late 2011. As far as I can tell it stopped being driven in about 2003 from recepts I found in it, and the story goes a couple brought it in to my mechanic to get the rear axle worked on. in the time it was being worked on they got a divorce and then neither side thought it was their problem so neither paid for it. So I started out "buying" it by paying off the debt for it being 2000$.

It didnt run so I had to find a gas tank for it online, since there was rust in the fuel tank. Have them clean out the fuel lines. Then although the transmission looked like it was rebuilt new, since it hadnt run in so long it had to be taken apart and cleaned. it cost 120$ for the fuel tank, 300 for the fuel system and installing it, and 1000 for the tranny job. I finally got to take it home running like march 2012.
