An alien machine-entity which fell to Earth(?) in ancient times. While it was worshipped as an object of the gods by various cultures, it was only when a black-ops research project began poking at it that it reactivated. Designed to interface with organics through a direct cranial tap, it communicates through an "voicebox" that in turn provides a personality template; additional remote "puppets" can be controlled through a simpler interface unit that the machine-entity is capable of manufacturing.

Despite being a bodyjacking alien analogue AI, the machine-entity is fairly friendly and is mostly interested in learning how to build the various machinery required to construct a ship or communications device that can bring it home.
