Valentine's Day this year was different from all the years past that I've had. While I wasn't depressed about not having a mate, I certainly noticed how many others have one on this day in particular. But this year, I have found a mate. I have told a couple of you but never made any public announcement. With this picture, I am incredibly pleased and happy to announce:
Aluka and I are now mates!
When he came to me and asked if I wanted to make something more of our relationship, there wasn't a doubt in my mind. I want to be there for him, and be his other half. He completes me in a way I never expected but am truly grateful for. He is my light and my fire, that which keeps me going through the day.
