This evening, Sunday, February 26, 2017, Disney's animated feature "Zootopia" picked up the Academy Award for 'Best Animated Feature' (about one year after its initial release in theaters around the world).
To commemorate this achievement, I've altered the dialogue in my "Red Carpet" fan art piece, and present it to you as an excerpt, so you can see more details of the characters ('Nick Wilde', 'Judy Hopps', and 'Jimmy Kammel'), their wardrobe and their surroundings.
Congratulations to co-directors Byron Howard, Rich Moore, and Jared Bush, and to the incredible staff at Disney Animation for turning out an entertaining and thought-provoking work of (anthropomorphic) art!

Tell me about it! I'd thought that Steve Harvey screwed things up, when he announced the wrong winner of the Miss Universe contest (over a year ago). Now, we've got Jimmy Kimmel to blame for the mix-up at the end of the "Oscar Telecast" - with "Moonlight" as the actual winner, instead of "La La Land"!
CORRECTION: I'd erroneously blamed Jimmy Kimmel for the envelope mix-up scenario at the end of the Academy Awards ceremony, when (in fact) it was a representative from the accounting firm of PWC (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) who gave the wrong envelope to presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. My humblest apologies to Mr. Kimmel...
