Back when I was a novice at repairing radios this radio shocked me for the first time.

It is a RCA International AM & SW with tuning eye model : 8QR621-R made in 1955.

Wow! That one is very nice!
I love the eye in the center of the dial!

I honestly can't remember the first radio that shocked me. But I remember the first TV that shocked me.

20,000 volts on my thumb! It was numb for an hour... o.o

Is that an actual tuner eye? Or whatever it's called? I've only ever seen one of those in action once in my whole life and I was endlessly fascinated by its odd glow.
