Species: Blind cave loach - always simply called a loach on the rare chance his species name is used

Personality: Fringe is a solitary person. His appearances tends to scare most people off, and many that aren't scared take him as an easy target for vile insults. There are a few loose people he cares for, but for the most part, he lives quietly on the edge of the oceans, tending a small farm. Despite his lonely life, though, he has heard story after story about freedom fighters and chaos emeralds and all manner of exciting stories, and he thirsts for an adventure of his own... What inspired them to join: Reclamation. Fringe's appearances are frightening to most people, so he got some friends to help him with looking his best for a contest built around appearances. Or so he thought. Yes, he didn't quite get the memo that this isn't just about looks, but personality, so his entry portfolio ended up a bit too fashionable for him. He isn't too shaken, though. Just entering a contest like this is a victory for him.

This is my first entry for "pageant-mobius.deviantart.com", of my character "http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22475265/" This is kind of a challenge for me, to see how far I can get in what is ostensibly a beauty contest with an intrinsically unappealing character. Don't get me wrong, I love Fringe, but I know how he looks. Wish us both luck!
