::Materials::
Faber-Castell brush pens, digital touch-up w/ PSP7
::Inspirations::
Inspired by the wolf-logo from Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher game and novels.
This rather old piece is of a character of mine name Fenris (which I'm sure has been used a thousand times on here). But, unlike 99.998% of the characters featured on FA, this one's human, and lives in a normal world. He just has a nanotech bodysuit with a wolf-head helmet to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies. Who doesn't?
Anyway, Fenris is an elite assassin/CT agent for a group loosely controlled by the US government. The helmet featured here is made from a combination of carbon nanotubes, Honeywell Spectra, titanium plating, FOLED screens, various sensors/electronics and ballistic plastics. It comes with built-in IR, series III NV and EM. It also has a GPS system, limited radar, and numerous telelcomm devices. It also has a system that allows Fenris (which is really a codename, obviously) to show his emotions through the mask/helmet. Estimated cost for construction was ~200,000 USD (the helmet, not my crappy drawing).
I know the background is kind of hokey, but the original white from my sketchbook was way too bright, and the background I had replaced it with (pure black) was too dark.

Hey what's up! Just wanted to check out your gallery. Hmm. Cool helmet. It reminds me of a helmet I saw on a game called "Castle Doom". I was a youngster at this time. Anyway, it shows what your character looks like it's a knight in a suit of armor with helmet with horns on it. (But back then that freaked me out). And the game was scary for me. Hopefully you know what game I'm talking about. I'm not sure if it even became a game I only played the demo. Oh yeah it's for the PC btw and the only reason it reminded me of that was because the only helmet I could had saw that scared me was the helmet I saw on "Castle Doom".
Well. I've looked at your gallery. I think it's quite a collection. I like your poetry and your art is good. (Then again I haven't read much poetry to know what's good and what's bad. Lol). Though I got a question for you. Do you see yourself as a per say evil person. Because I don't see you as a evil person, you may let off that you're weird in the sense that you like evil things, but the way I see it. Everyone has a good side and a bad side. I think you lean toward your evil side more. But that doesn't make me think you're evil.
lol... umm.... well, that's kinda complicated... lol...
Well, I'm dark. I'd be evil by some people's moral standards, if not a large number of people's moral standards, but I don't have the same concepts of morality as other people. There are only so many things I truly consider evil, as I often recognize most decisions people make based on moral reasoning are not because they are really right or wrong, but because of their upbringing. Evil is a point of view. But you could say that I lean towards what is considered evil more often, yes, because it encompasses behaviors that I often exhibit (obsession with dark things, planning and scheming, seditious nature, subversion of societal norms, embracing of violent tendencies, homosexually flirtatious, etc).
I think you lean toward your evil side more. But that doesn't make me think you're evil.
Well, that's what it sounds like, lol. But I kinda see what you're saying. I think. Unless I misunderstood.

Damn! About time you answered! Lol jk. Yeah I think I might have worded it wrong. Basicly, you let off as a evil person, but I see you for who you really are. A funny and friendly guy. (Then again I have a tendancy to bring out the good in people by my kind and sometimes caring nature).
Well, I definitely try to be funny and friendly, but make no mistake: I would be considered "beyond the pale" in a good many people's books. You may end up not liking me, as I noted from your post on my journal. When people's core beliefs are so diametrically opposed, no good can come of it.
Again I'll say. I wasn't opposing your beliefs. I just didn't like the idea of kissing a guy. I shouldn't have even said I was Christian. I don't even know why I said that. I was being stupid. I don't care about your walk of life. It doesn't bother me. But what does bother me is what bothers you. Hatred. I don't like how people will hate on people for being gay or being black, or being fat. They seem to have a hatred for everything. So no, it wasn't a downcast on you, on homosexuality.
Alright, I can accept that. But you may want to remember the kind of perceptions people take when you immediately mention religion in regards to homosexuality. All you had to say was that you we're straight, and the idea doesn't sit well with you. That's all you had to say, it's fine.
Yeah. I've been getting that from people. Anyway, I'm going to check out my other unchecked comments and upload some photos I took. You're welcome to look at my pictures. OMG! I'm just thinking, do I make you feel like an idiot when I tell you I don't think you're evil and in fact you're a nice and friendly guy. I don't want it making you feel uncomfortable.
Noo... I know I'm friendly and nice. I also know I'm dark. And I also know that I'm, in some ways, evil. Somehow. Not evil in the sense of morality, but in the way I sometimes use it. It's kinda hard to explain, but it's a way I mock the traditional concepts that Western society has of good and evil. Sort of how evil is dark and violent, so therefore, I might be considered evil. But I still think I'm a good person. Therefore, I'm mocking that stereotype, because while I may be dark and deviant, I'm very generous and I try to help a lot of people.
But no, it didn't make me feel like an idiot. I would have told you if it did. It was an odd juxtaposition, though, lol, but I can see what you meant. At least, I think I do.
