Grave robbery to defile the corpse of the deceased is absolutely deplorable.

But if some jackass is going to have himself buried with millions in gold bouillon, there's gonna be more than a few who wouldn't find opening the crypt such an offense.

Besides, exhumation is a common practice even in modern times. Often the family can't or doesn't know to pay rent on the grave plot, so the body is exhumed and moved to a mass crypt or grave.

This is why I'm an organ donor, and opt for creamation... If a part of my battered and beaten body can help improve someone else's life, take it!!!! I'm not using it anymore, burn the rest.

I like the Native American's way of doing it. When someone was going to die they took his belongings, gave him a blanket, walked him out to the middle of the forest and let nature take it's course. He not only didn't have to worry about who got his stuff but he fed some forest animals and what was left fertilized the ground so more plants could grow.
