The Canis Macropus is my first Original Species, and they are a Closed Species because the species is currently a WIP, however, you can read a bit about them in this link. They'll officially become open, once I have my females and pups drawn up.

Nah, not a steal, just probably a similar idea to many people.
Canis Macropus is a Kangaroo-Dog. It's not a runner like the 'Raptor-Dog' hybrid that many have, and actually, it's mostly the males that I have figured out and the adolescent stages.
Like, here are some bodily concepts of adolescent stages I have.
But, anyway, that is a bit of webbing between its frontal toes, as they need to be able to adapt to their surroundings since they're not strong runners. Digging and scavenging, however, is mostly how they survive.
Honestly, though, I haven't really had the time to work on them lately, so the work I have for them is far from being updated, and probably will be for a while.

Hmm..... I've thought about that too. I see what you mean for your species' lighter tails. My species can probably lean back on their tails, but I'm not sure if they'd kick like a roo since their legs are shorter overall and a bit heavier down low. Perhaps they don't really need to since their legs have high lateral strength and move well independently.
What do you think?
Also, I look forward to your future animal creations
