Introducing Betserai the Lycaon / African Wild Dog. I thought him as a very young boy ( 15) that is still studiying to be a cop but was already accepted to do small tasks in the police station, something like an intern/passant. Obviouslly very inexperienced, he likes to ask Dora about some tips to make a better work during the exams and physical tests in his way to be a "real cop". The german shepherd seens herself on him at that age, so helps him always that she can x3
As he is very very young, he can`t be a cop until have 18, but, he already can start to learn the tricks of the office. His family supports him and are friend of Cody, so he accepted to have him in the police station , at least in the non dangerous zones of it, to help to officers and to show him how is the REAL cop universe from inside.

In the US, he would be a Police Explorer Scout. The Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America support Explorer Scout programs. The Explorer programs are sponsored by outside groups and are intended to expose teens to different vocations. I was in an Aviation unit. Many police departments sponsor law enforcement explorer units in our area. They get to assist in different assignments.
Many of the Police Explorer units do perform Auxilary duties alongside patrol officers as sanctioned activities, such as assisting with crowd control at large public events.
Here in the western US, many law enforcement agencies have civilian volunteers who assist in providing departmental services such as fingerprinting or crime prevention activities. Some agencies also have volunteer patrols. Here in Arizona, Maricopa and Pima counties both have civilian Sheriff's posses. They're all volunteer and have many different duties. They do fingerprinting and crime prevention activities, but some members are trained to perform Search and Rescue and some are sworn peace officers. They also perform traffic control duties and may perform regular patrol duties.
