A poem I wrote, interested in feedback, I'm still developing it so comments are appreciated
In times of shame we look to blame.
Those who oppose what we hold dear.
And in vain we strike out blind in fear.
Causing ruin for unfortunate near,
Goading fights with taunting jeer.
And when the morning star rises bright.
The deed of the foul are cleansed from sight.
The conscious of the guilty feel no remorse.
As the rest of world continues to stay its course.
A tragic play in the sight of few
Who see the world in plain view
Pure of heart as the sky is blue
Fearing those who strike and maim,
Avoiding those that seek to blame.
Fearing those who strike and maim,
Avoiding those that seek to blame.

besides making a few minor revisions so that this one does have such an abrupt rhyme scheme in the end, my ideas are really shallow, I'm not very deep person unfortunately. I like writing poetry and I do it all the time (seldom will I actually upload any of my poems...), but really better? No I think I'm think this dull flower has bloomed.
