I honestly thought life would just go back to normal after that attack by that weird monster. I took a few days off to let my arm heal somewhat before I went back to work. So I was just walking down the street rather upbeat and feelin' fine.
Next thing I know, I'm being pulled into an alleyway and pinned up against the wall.
I fought back at first, but whoever held me had my good arm out of commission and squeezed down on my bad arm to the point I couldn't even bear to move it.
That's when I got a good look at who was holding me up.
Clearly robbers in this city have gotten hotter without me knowing.
"I saw you take out that creature the other night. You're pretty good."
Ok, so this woman wasn't here to rob me or kick my ass. So far so good. Only problem was that I was still pretty much helpless and wasn't sure what I could do to get out of this situation.
And the worst part? All I could think at the time was:
Don'tlookdowndon'tlookdowndon'tlookdowndon'tlookdown...
