[h]Fia'Lu & Sid[/h]
Fia'Lu lived a comfortable life with her twin brother and parents in C9-S6 G of the planet ZurDon.
That was, until her brother was drafted for the Army.
Afraid of losing him, Fia, in the middle of the night, snuck out and entered the Army in her brother's name.
Due to the siblings looking identical, it was a rather easy process.
Though a little difficult the first weeks, Fia'Lu found herself adequate to the other Soldiers in her Section.
However, the Sergeant in charge, Sid Lon, had noticed her behavior standing out from the others.
Strangely enough, he found himself vaguely attracted to her, though this only confused him, being under the impression that Fia was her brother, Vya.
He felt a burning curiosity revolving the soldier. Until...
It was a mildly chilly night, and it was Splatoon 74's week of survival training.
They were camped out in the middle of woods with barely any electronics, a test to see how well they cope in the wilderness.
Most soldiers had gone to bed by this time, but not all.
Fia had left the camp to bathe in a nearby lake.
She disrobed and lowered herself in the water, shivering at the temperature of the water, however, she adapted to it pretty quickly, and proceeded to wash herself.
She was just rubbing a thin layer of shampoo into her hair when..
"A bit late for a washing, don't you think, Soldier?"
Her eyes shot open and she winced as shampoo got into her eyes, and she quickly slammed her head down against the water surface to wash it out.
When she had gotten the shampoo out of her eyes, she blinked up to see the large figure of Sergeant Sid Long, standing a feet or two from the edge of the river, arms folded, his expression unintelligible.
"S-sir..!" Fia stammered, blinking her eyes rapidly. They were still stinging from the shampoo..
"I... just thought now was as good a time as any, Sir."
- "Is that so?" Sid asked, cocking an eyebrow, and he gave a soft sniff.
"Quite the sweet-smelling shampoo you're using, Soldier.
You'll be tracked down easily with that stuff."
Fia stared up at him. She hadn't thought the smell would be that strong..
"It.. you can smell it all the way from there, Sir?" She asked.
- "When you have a nose like mine, you can smell things from miles away..." Sid replied with a soft huff and he reached up, undoing his jacket.
"S-sir? What are you doing??"
- "I'm joining you. It's been a few days since I last washed, and as you said, Vya, now is as good a time as any."
Fia blushed and turned her back at Sid as he undressed.
"O-of course. I won't stop you, Sir."
- "Good. You know, I'm actually a little surprised at you."
Fia glanced around to see Sid step into the water too.
His body was well-toned and muscular, quite the attractive body, indeed.
His long thick tail swayed lightly behind him as it disappeared under the water.
"Surprised...?" Fia repeated.
"What for, Sir?"
Sid observed her for a moment, waist high in the water.
- "Maybe it's nothing. Just your performance during training." He said slowly, as if choosing his words.
"You seem more adaptable to this kind of scenery compared to most young Soldiers.
However, I'm guessing that it might have to do with how you live at home, yes?
You lived with your parents, correct?"
Fia nodded.
"And your parents are rather Technophobic, aren't they?"
- "Yes, Sir.
We have lights, Security Bot System, and Radio.
Our parents won't tolerate having a television or game system in the house.
They barely use their telephonics, either."
Sid nodded.
"It's odd, most odd, for technophobia to be a thing when they live around such vast technology in the first place."
He took Fia's soap bottle, glancing at her.
"You don't mind, do you? I don't carry hygenics around with me."
Fia shook her head before burying it under water again to wash out the shampoo more properly.
When she resurfaced, Sid was over at the more shallow part of the lake, rubbing the soap onto his body.
Fia felt her chest light up slightly as she watched him.
Sid wasn't paying attention to her at the moment, focusing on rubbing the soap in, before he spoke again.
"You have a sister, do you not, Vya?"
Fia blinked, before nodding.
Realizing that Sid couldn't see that, she piped up;
"Yes, sir. Fia."
- "Fia... Vya..."
Sid let out a soft chuckle.
"Amusingly similar names you have. Did your parents name you so similar for any particular reason?"
- "I don't know, Sir." Fia replied.
"Oh well. I suppose maybe they just wanted it easier to remember both your names, ey?" Sid said with another chuckle, turning back to her, suds running down his front, even a bit of color visible from...
Fia nodded quickly and let out a soft nervous giggle.
"Y-yes, maybe so..!"
Sid then beckoned him over, holding the soap bottle.
"Come, I'll soap up your back for you."
Fia stood frozen for a moment, barely more than her head above the surface of the water, before she slowly made her way over to him.
She wouldn't protest. Doing so might strike the Sergeant as rude, and not to mention, suspicious.
Though the cloth wrapped around her chest was without a doubt more suspicious in Sid's mind as he watched her approach and then turn her back on him.
Nevertheless, he started rubbing the soap against the fur on her upper and lower back.
Once or twice, it grazed against her rump, but he ignored any reaction that came from her when it did.
"This cloth is kind of unnecessary when you're washing, isn't it, Soldier?" Sid asked, giving one of the strips of cloth a soft tug.
"I leaves a large part of your body uncleanable. Why not remove it when you wash?"
- "I-I only remove it when I'm alone, sir..!" Fia replied, blushing harder than ever.
"Really now?"
Sid got closer, leaning towards the side of Fia's head, his eyes steely as he watched her closely.
"Are you hiding something under there, perhaps?"
That night, Sid found of Fia's actual identity, and gender.
He wasn't very angry. He was more impressed at her ability to hide it, more than he was angry.
However, he was a Sergeant. He had responsibilities.
Such a concealment was to be reported to the Army Uppers.
But instead, he struck a deal with Fia.
He would not tell the Army Uppers, if Fia from now on slept beside him.
It was a very abusive proposal, but if Fia were to be found out, there would be ridiculing, especially for her family.
And so, she accepted.
Despite how they started off, they are quite close now, engaged in a relationship together, for what better way to die, than hand in hand at the battlefield.
