I found out how to use the Sega Genesis soundfont! Fuck yeah!
In case it wasn't blatantly obvious from my remixes, I'm a pretty huge Sonic fan, especially when it comes to the music. From day one of making music, I ALWAYS wanted to create a Boss theme inspired from the classic games, but nothing I did sounded right. Now that I have the actual Genesis sounds, I managed to do something.
It's repetitive as all hell but intentionally so. I wanted to make a constant, driving beat that you'd bop your head to and make it sound as mechanical as possible. Still has a nice melody over the top though.
Thoughts? Criticisms? Death threats? Fire away and enjoy!
