It's not about being in tune, it's about the quality of the note. The examples you showed me had out of tune notes but played with a great tone! The music above is in tune, but has terrible tonality. It's the quality and strength of the note that needs to be better rather than the tuning of itself.

The tone in this sounds very weak (prob. because it's a $200 HSN guitar). If I upgrade, the notes would stay the same, but it would sound stronger overall. It's like singing alone in your bedroom when no one is home versus singing out in public.
