May I introduce you all to the not so secret Agent Hoo (^. .^)
My local RPG group just started up a game of Mutants and Masterminds and I came up with the silly idea of making a giant goo as my hero and have them being a big kid like softie who can heal people, and here she is.

She is unbelievably strong and durable, able to pull herself back together after almost any attack, she can stretch her limbs up to 120ft and though being slapped by jelly doesn't really hurt that much she is VERY proficient and grabbing onto things and not letting go until they pass out and can be neatly arrested or popped into a bag hanging from her belt. She often changes colour to fit her mood or environment and can compress herself to cut her size in half or even squeeze and fill places that are not water tight. She also has a small safe space inside of her fluid body which has the ability to absorb wounds from others inflicting them upon herself, stretching as far as bringing people back to life on the brink of death.
Although she didn't always look like this, over time and interactions with humans and her minder she has started to mimic human shape and speech, wanting nothing more than to fit in and help on her new home... well that and to catch the bad guys (^. .^)

The creature classified as VLOB was frozen in a chuck of rock careening through space, how it got there and why is currently known but fate had destined this rock to impact with a certain planet. On entering Earth's atmosphere the asteroid started to break up, the remnants impacting in the midst of the desert. The heat of the landing awoke this strange creature from its iced slumber, slowly pulling the scattered parts of its body back together taking on a shapeless blob like form. Curiously it ventured out into the sandy surroundings first coming across a strange line of black stone with markings along it. Slightly confused it poked what it later learnt was a road, flopped and bounced on it, licked but then just decided to follow it along. Soon Vlob heard a strange noise and did its best impression of a giant orange translucent rock by the road side which rather confused the truck driver passing and almost caused him to crash.
Being rather fascinated by this noisy metal box Vlob blobbed after it along the road, soon finding more of these mental boxes which all seemed to skid and squeak on seeing it with small creatures fleeing from inside of them. Vlob neatly moved all the trucks to the side of the road and continued along the road until arriving into a wonderfully interesting and curious place of large neat structures, lights, smells, thousands of little creatures running around and so many metal boxes moving around on the road.
Catching a rather alluring scent Vlob started to head in that direction doing its best to mimic the creatures around it forming two legs and arms and a head to try and blend in but all they did was scream and run from it. Soon more metal boxes turned up but these were very loud and had blue and red flashing lights and seemed to scream. Once the little people had got out of the boxes Vlob noticed how untidy they had left the boxes so neatly pushed them to the side of the road and lined them up on the pavement. It wasn’t long after this that a much bigger and angry metal box with a pipe on top turned up and poked Vlob from a distance. Vlob didn’t enjoy this but didn’t want to cause a fuss so it took the tank shell out of its body and gently placed it on top of the tank to the amazement of the tank crew who were about ready to flee, unperturbed Vlob continued following that tempting smell.
On arriving near an industrial sized hot dog factory metal birds that hovered started to pester Vlob and like the tank started to poke it again and again with little bullets, displeased Vlob carefully reached up and pulled one down to place it on the ground much to the confusion of the pilots. More angry boxes turned up causing Vlob to play peek a boo around the side of the building from them, circling the factory to stay out of line of fire.

Enter Major Copy Kate into the story (played by the amazing  Takan_Twins ) being scrambled by A.R.M.O.R. a force set up to deal with, contain and counter meta human threats she quickly arrived on scene to find a giant humanoid-ish shaped blob playing ring around the roses with a tank platoon. Discussing its actions with the soldiers on scene and amazed by the fact it had not hurt a single person during its “rampage” she hatched a cunning plan. Commandeering a truck of hotdogs from the factory by convincing the owners it was better to lost one truck before that creature worked out how to get to the smell. Driving away slowly from the factory Vlob quickly turned and followed the delicious smell of processed meat back out into the desert. Major Kate led Vlob to a secret A.R.M.O.R. facility and hanger, luring the creature in and rewarding it with the contents of the truck.

Fast forward a few months and after careful interactions, scientific study and lots of trial and error Vlob has started to acclimatise to its new home, learning basic language and forming a bond with its new minder Copy Kate, learning to trust her and follow orders as a reward for getting to go out and play and feast on junk food. As time went out the creature categorised as Vlob finally identified itself as Hoo which was oddly fitting for the healing properties of this large goo like alien. Though gender-less with growing familiarity to Kate Hoo now appears much more female and has developed a softer voice.

There we have it (^. .^) Hoo the Vlob, a hero working for A.R.M.O.R. to keep the people of the world safe from meta human threats, have a good time and do her best to fit in.
I was loving the concept so much my creative juices wouldn’t stop bubbling away and I struggled to sleep post game XD ended up waking early and powering through this drawing, felt great to draw again I must say and hope I can keep the motivation going for it. Now just to wait for the next game session and slime some baddies tehe.
