it's aaaaaall a matter of opinion tbh with furc. I'm in the negative. they pushed 32 bit and changed all the maps into big, pretty but convoluted things and the main old dreams I used to frequent have kinda disappeared. I'm mostly disappointed with the promises of more colors - they completely redid fox editor and made nonremap ports remappable, but they only added a few extra shades of fur, markings etc to the character editor. the worst of it is either the character editor itself or the new character system omg. the editor is now in browser and the system is maddeningly rigid - you can't just pull an ini from your furc folder anymore. it runs entirely by email. you have to jump about 15 hurdles and wait an hour+ for the new system to email you, and you can only use one email at a time. oh, and the advertisements are constant.

but hey, it looks pretty.
if only they could get the rest of the shit right.
I still play tho, I don't learn my lesson

I donated a lot of money too them for their Kickstarter lmao so I'm glad it's still alive but I'm disappointed in that new system ini files for me were so easy to use why make it so complex ?? At least it looks pretty lmao I have like 2 full scale dreams I made for furc ahhh those where the days I might have to check back on there just to check it out

their kickstarter was nonexistent for a really longass time, but they finally pushed the updates and now they make digos every 5 mins. why they broke what wasn't broken is beyond me but I was so pissed about the ini system

I tend to go through spells of playing furc, then drop out for like a month, then come back, so it's never a constant thing for me!!
