Pretty much like in the Railway Series Thomas book, where Thomas visits the Railway Show.

One of the things me and Squeaky share is we both love trains, so, as we visit Pennsylvania, I took her to the railway park, where real steam engines still work. Squeaky was just 6 years old at this time, and I had to keep reminding her not to run close to the tracks, since engines can't stop at once. This day, Matilda stayed at the hotel with Pippy, and I took a very excited Squeaky to the railway park. She slipped away and was right on the track and a big steamer was coming, I raced over and grabbed her, the engine blew a loud whistle, in the rush, I dropped the backpack with our lunch. Luckily, I only lost the backpack and lunch. Needless to say, the conductor and manager were extremely pissed, and Squeaky was upset, by both realising she nearly got killed, and think I was mad. I was mad, but I was more happy that my baby girl wasn't hurt. Squeaky then learned that trains don't stop at once. If this stays with her, it's well worth me paying for the damage to the engine's breaks.
