I heard 10 gauge shells are more scarce to find than 12, and there isn't much difference between the two in performance. I think it's mainly a recoil issue. But if there was a cool gun to get for the 10 gauge, it's the lever-action Chiappa 1887.

I notice you go for the more classic firearms over more modern. I like to have a fair mix.

LOL I have eat those MRE when I was in the NAVY some are better than others but I never liked that Vegetarian one. I saved a lot of them but they don't last 5 years my box of them spoiled even not opened. The tobacco little bottle turned dark brown it was kind of funny to see. I would advise you eat them for the fun before they spoil.

10 gauge -- that's a rara avis, lately. Later 12 gauges, even before the Magnums, were loaded hot enough that the tens became obsolete. Looking down the bore of the boom stick, most zombies won't care if it's .73 or .77 diameter...

Yip! That's right -- the Big E Gun Show is coming up this weekend. All I got at the collector show a couple weekends ago were a bunch of antique cartridges (.38 Smith & Wesson, .32 S&W and .32 Colt New Police) and several boxes of .41 S&W Magnum. I lurve oddball calibers. Mebbe I'll start posting my swag...
