On Monday, November 21, 2016, I had to say goodbye to my baby. My 11.5 year old dachshund had a heart attack and passed away. My daughter and I were heartbroken, but our heart was opened back up by this lovely young lady.

Shelby was adopted by us on Saturday, November 26, 2016, was spayed on Monday, November 28, 2016, and came home on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. This was taken on her car ride home, and I picture her saying "Yeah, that's me!" when she lifts her muzzle in the gif.

Her breed is uncertain at the moment (we were told she was a Catahoula Leopard Hound mix - which is actually a Catahoula Cur, but she looks nothing like them. Her mix is most likely German Shepherd, but other than that, we don't know much about her yet.)
