Keesha, Lafayette Escadrille
Kythra wanted a sketch of his bat character, Keesha the Bat. But as a member of the American Volunteer French Lafayette Escadrille squadron in WW1.Took some hard thinking out how to feature bat wings mixed with a uniform.
No doubt flying Nieuport 17s, snacking on Hun bugs.

I had an idea some years ago for a WWI-themed piece: it was based on the nursery rhyme:
Hickory hickory dare,
The pig flew up in the air!
The man in brown
soon brought him down,
