So I got bored and decided to do some math with that weight
The average adult lioness weighs around 127kg
With that in mind, you can calculate her belly mass to be about 657kg, just over 5 times her own body weight (assuming there's not an extra digit hidden behind the researcher's belly)
And to top it all off, an average cub with one and a half kilograms at birth, which, coupled with that belly weight above, puts the baby count at around 438 cubs
They're gonna have their hands full

438 cubs is too many for a belly mass of 657 kg, since a substantial fraction will be amniotic fluid - in humans this is about 25% at birth. Applying that factor leaves 493 kg, about 330 cubs.
But I'm pretty sure the scale's reading is more than 784 kg. The hidden digit on the scale reading depends on whose size we normalize. Assuming the average density of cubs and amniotic fluid is the same as water:
If we want the anthro to be typical human height, the closest match is at 171 cm tall (5 ft 7 in). In this case the feral is 120 cm long head+body (3 ft 11 in), the scale reads 1784 kg, and she's carrying 860 cubs.
That's rather small for the feral, but if she were a nearly typical 154 cm (5 ft 1 in), then the anthro would be rather big at 220 cm (7 ft 3 in), the scale's reading would be 3784 kg, and the feral would have 1830 cubs!
