I have finally gotten all the various bits and pieces sufficiently togather to actually cut things. This is a batch of bale arm sensor brackets for my film scanner. There is still entirely too much painter's tape holding it togather, but it works.

We have an analyzer at my job that I call the Whale because it makes those same noises. It's great.
And yes, hearing protection is a must for those mills. At the sign shop, we used a lot of different densities of foam - most didn't make a lot of noise but the machine did. When cutting aluminum, cats three miles away had their fur on end and dogs were howling. Just a mess. LOL
