Wherein Hot rod should leave the psychiatry to the rodents.
For those who are just tuning in, this is a story I wrote when ten years old. As a result, the writing is... bad. Hilariously bad. Let's read!

Hot rod XXII
Adios Pretty much the extent of the Spanish I knew, at that point. Okay, to be fair, I also knew hola, numbers up to 100, and a few other bits and pieces.
Sardor at noon
I went home the next day. I got there, went inside, and found Sardor. He sure didn’t find me. The weird thing was that he was that he was having a civilized conversation. He was having it with a mouse! I decided to listen.
Sardor: Well, I did it because of the fortune teller.
Mouse: Because of the fortune teller? Why the dialogue style shift?
Did what? What about the fortune teller?
S It seems I was feeling rather lazy, that day.: The fortune teller told me I would be an evil man. Everyone tried to trick me into believing she was wrong but I saw through them.
Me: She was telling what will happen… if not prevented
Shoulda kept quiet I thought. They both turned to my direction. I reached for my sword. Sardor said “what do you know?” I pulled my sword out
Quad team
I said something I really shouldn’t have (taking a guess at his feelings). “Hmm, Anger, difficulty to believe me…, a touch of thought perhaps…” Sardor growled at me and I said “Patience, patience. Listening never hurt anybody.” Byrd flew behind Sardor and blasted him. We fought our way into the pool room. Sardor blasted me across the room and into the portal. I actually went into the portal.
Sequel hook!
I did not finish the sequel, but there is a sequel.
So, overall, this book has a weird charm. It is bad, but in a good way, I think. I have a fair bit of nostalgia for the process of writing it and, I must say, writing this was unlike any other work I have written and, admittedly, writing it had a certain joy to it that has not been replicated since.
