Before I ever checked out Doctor Who, I always thought that it was just a cheesy sci fi series aimed towards younger audiences. Then I finally watched it and... JEBUS! That show can be absolutely horrifying. Like this one. Silence in the Library was just so creepy and really sad at the same time. It's the first time we ever meet River and she ups and dies. It was still really sad, though, and it just makes that episode all the more sad when you meet her in later episodes, knowing just what awaits her in her future.
