A story illo commission. I've never seen the show this is based on but love the designs. Hopefully the writer will drop a link to the story in the comments section for those who would like to read it.

I don't know if this is a "What if the Witches were good/were the Winx Club instead" or if this a spoiler because I'm so not up to date (I was watching handfuls of both english dubs and trying to piece together the changes in plot - the european dub is more faithful to the original Italian - then Cartoon Network (seasons 1-3) dropped the show, and then 4 years later Nickelodeon picked up the slack where CN left off (3-6) and just... aaaugh, there's a surprising amount of content including; 3 movies (and a live action one happening soon), a couple of video games, a spin-off cartoon and even a Theme Park in Italy based on the franchise!)... or if I just forgot some details because holy crap its been a long time -- great, pic, i recognised the characters from the thumbnail!
Hello, Everybody...
This is an illustration for a Winx Club / Disney Faeries cross-over fan fiction authored by Robert Teague (1955-2016) and me entitled On Thin Ice. This is the second story we completed together before Robert's passing in June 2016 and the third in the series. To better understand this illustration it is best to read the stories in order: A Clockwork Fairy, Pixie Hollow In Peril and, finally, On Thin Ice.
We were working on a fourth story before Robert passed away called The Andros Connection. At this moment, it is only a story fragment but I intend to complete and post it. When I do, I shall certainly be calling upon Heather to draw more illustrations for me.
