Entering the mansion, you took the large set of immaculately carved doors, with images of saints and holy images. The scent of incense wafts from beyond the door. Behind those doors was the mansion’s private chapel. Decorated in marble and gold, the lingering scent of incense is far stronger in here. Looking around the room, you see sconces still lit, and votive candles still burning on side altars.
The room is clearly abandoned, the ancient wood pews have not been sat on in years, and the cloth carpets and curtains have been eaten through. Though you know it to be night, a strange light glows from the massive stained glass windows, on to the altar in the apse. The altar sits on an elevated platform, illuminated only by the shaft of light from the window. Something sits on it, but from the back of the chapel, you can’t make out what it is.
You approach the altar, climbing the low stairs to reach the polished marble structure. A brocaded cloth drapes over the structure, worn by age and stained with – something – it holds a very large tome. The tome is gilded and bound with great care. You slid the latch off of it, and the book opens.
You thumb through the strange book, this is no bible, no holy text, but something far more sinister. You try to shut the book, but the cursed book envelops you in a baleful light. Unable to shut it, you try to throw it away, but the book saps your strength, draining away your life!
The voracious aura of the book finally dies down, having stolen your life and your body! You float into the air your physical body fades away, you have become the GHOST

The chapel was special as it served as both a junction room - leading to several other final rooms, and a secret destination room, if someone inspected the altar. Lucky the Hippo Alchemist did, and he found the experience to die for.
This room, is a homage to the Ghoust Council of Orzhova; from MTG's Ravnica, as well as the tropes of a haunted churches a-la-Castlevania, and of course, my own love of old Churches.
