My cat fursona, Alan. Alan's my most gentlemanly side, my social-awkwardness, and my intelligence and bookishness embodied. Mostly, he's curious, proper, and anxious, hence his expression in this badge. He was originally based on Alan Turing and he kept some of that, but he's gotten a lot more of my own personality especially my love of suits as well as my fascination with and attachment to the 1940s. I love the idea of being a gay man from that time (although I'd hate the lack of acceptance and never want sexuality to be a punishable offense, certainly. >_> ) I admire the secrecy and culture of gay men from that time as well as the sheer balls to be openly gay in a time when it was punishable by law. Part of why I admire Turing so much.
