Since TurrentWolfie is uploading photos of a creepy place, I thought I'd upload the redneck equivalent. This is an abandonned mobile home that was on a ranch my father bought. The most amazing thing was the buzzing--yes, the buzzing. The walls hummed with bees. The place was a giant beehive. Where there were't bees, there were hornets. Open a cupboard or a drawer and something nasty awaited.

There was a large pit next to it. We pushed it into the pit with a bulldozer, poured about 20 gallons of diesel into it, and set that thing a light. Then a few days later bulldozed dirt into the hole, burying it.
We'd tried to find someone to scrap it out...no one wanted to.

When I first moved here to Oregon, I was staying with a friend of my bf's in a mobile home that didn't qualify for being that bad, but given a few more years and a little less TLC, it would have been a close runner up.
He didn't live in the thing all year, was gone most of the summer on his mining claim so when he left, the spiders, mice, hornets, flies and dust all had a free home. >.< We never could compleetly clean the place up.

Good GOD, I wondered for the longest time where you had found that image!
That's fucking amazing. Nothing gets me more intrigued than urban (rural?) decay, and the stories that come out if it - the place humming and teeming with bees... the rat turds... and most of all, how you guys got rid of it! That had to be one of the most awesome things ever.
