How to Play: Read the comic and then choose in the strawpoll link below what Tanya should do next.
Make sure to pay attention to Tanya's Stats. Charm determines how easily Tanya can sway others and cause them to do her bidding through seduction or other means. Stomach shows how hungry she is. If her meter gets too low, the quest may be railroaded, or Tanya doing something opposite of what the majority of people voted for. Vigor is vital for Tanya to do certain tasks that may require more effort than normal. Vigor can be seen as a combination of energy and mood.
There are also Current Sounds to keep in mind. Tanya is a rabbit with large ears! This means she uses her hearing almost constantly to remain aware of her surroundings. Current sounds can give a hint as to whether you should be careful in a specific situation or can do activities freely.
I'm looking for a lot of participation with this quest, so please chip in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Keep it alive. We can save it for later if anything. We have three options, one is to save it as a meal for later, two is to use it as bait/blackmail. It's not a good idea to eat it, it may be poisonous, and decapitating it may make it less of a hastle or less likely to draw attention, but we lose the bait options
And panicked breathing, meaning either Kuva is running towards us or Jabaro sees something he does not like.
So we either Kuva running at us with Java at her heels, or Java walking towards us with Kuva in thrall or worse... yeah, maybe keep the snake alive in case Java gives a crap about it.

Hm... it does have fangs, but... this is a vore themed adventure. How can not eating the snake be the best option? I will be very disappointed in everyone if that is not the winning option.
Also I think Tanya can hear Kuva coming back. This would also be an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that Tanya is in fact a predator.

Kuva may be coming back.... but it sounds like she is doing so with the same fear in her as Jabaro had.
Meaning likely Java is not too far beyond, so eating would be quite distracting thing to do.
And eating her pet snake, if that is hers, will likely piss her off where she will hold nothing back and where all three of characters are not ready for her.

Should that be the case, eating the snake is in fact the best option. Aside from strapping a bomb to it--which would require a lot of McGuyvering and probably more time than the group has--what better way is there to take a hostage that devour it? Ingestion isn't instantly fatal; I bet Tanya could safely keep the snake in her gut for least a few minutes.
If this "Java" character even cares at all then this would means she has a limited time to negotiate its release. Depending on how much control her hypnotism allows over her victims, she may not be able to force Tanya to regurgitate it either. That would mean she wouldn't be able to hypnotize Tanya at all... at least until the snake comes out.
And Java doesn't care? Well, hopefully it will make Tanya slightly more difficult to swallow.

We kinda are depending on how much time we have, and given how Java managed to devastate a whole group with ease and eat a lot of them with her physicality and abilities, we've not really in a good position to tell which choice is better.
Either way, we might be in for a fight, and a doubt a bigger gut will stop a snake from eating Tayna. Best you would get is a best in the vigor stat and hope that Tayna's stomach does not murder the shit out of the snake if we use it as a bargaining chip.
Edit: Also, do we even have time to beat the shit out of the snake before eating it whole when Kuva is coming our way or is in danger?

Tanya ate a gazelle on the fifth page. Looks like it took maybe... three seconds.
Kuva ate Tanya on page 21. Also in about four or five seconds.
I think Tanya has time to suck down a teeny little morsel like this. And if Java does care about the snakes--which I'm not confident of because they seem more like disposable mooks to me--then she couldn't very well go attacking Tanya while one of her little pretties is in her belly. That might hurt it. And according to one of her previous comic appearances, Tanya looks pretty spry even with a very full belly.
I mean I see where you're coming from. I can see your reasoning and it's pretty sound. I just think eating the snake is a slightly better idea. Also this a vore themed adventure. So that's why, too. If everyone only ever votes for Tanya to eat stuff when it's perfectly safe or the odds are really stacked in her favor then the one thing I'm assuming most of us came here for is going to be few and far between. And Tanya is probably going to get eaten more often herself.
Who dares, wins. Or may at least try again, in this case.

Well I am trying to learn from last time when we did a risky approach with the net on page 20 and the end result of that on 21.
That said, taking risks have yielded the net, gems, and other stuff.
Hmm, tough call which choice will get the best result. Though to be honest, either choice could backfire, just have to roll the votes and see what happens. Hell, if the snake gets digested, at least it is a vigor boost which could help in the coming fight.
Though there is something rather curious now that I think about it, if Kuva or someone is running back to us or near us, then that means that Java's hypnosis ability may be limited in how it can be used. As you said I think, it may be focused on sight, and maybe this snake we have here is how she knocks a few people out before arriving.

Oh Christ, I just realised something. Does that mean that Java has more snakes around to snap at any poor bugger's legs that cross their path or into her tuff?
If so, then does that actually mean that more of these snakes may mean that she doesn't give a crap if one of them dies. >.<
Like if this little bugger is how she knocked people out before arriving as the last page mentioned, then one of them I doubt is enough to knock out several people without being noticed and killed.

Curse that tiny editing window!
If Tanya really wants to be safe she can discombobulate the thing with a good smack. Maybe slap it against the ground once, then swallow it whole, net and all. I doubt the net will find much more use, anyway, and it's not like the snake will be able to bite the inside of her stomach.

Consider carefully folks that if Java is following close behind Kuva, if the footsteps and panicked breathing is hers, she may be able to see what Tanya can do.
Which may take away an element of surprise we can use on her since she may have the cheetahs' way of thinking that Tanya can not possibly be capable of eating something whole.
That said, it is one possibility.

Wow...so many people wanna keep the thing Tanya has a 'bad feeling about' alive. That's surprising o..o I think it'd be better off dead, or at least eaten.
Also, 'saving it for later' means it might get away or bite her or the cheetahs.
Also, also, they already -know- she states she can eat meat. That was talked about when they were first introduced to one another. Tanya even taunted Kuva which is why the bitch tried to get back at Tanya for it.
Also, also, also...poisonous is NOT the same thing as venomous. And if it were that easy to puncture the stomach walls and inject the venom, the gazelle would have easily injured Tanya from INSIDE. To avoid it biting her on the outside? eat the net.
Still think you should just kill it dead.

Then why would Kuva take serious offense to it, then? And why would it matter, anyway? Even if they didn't take her seriously, she -had- said it. So there really isn't a reason to keep it a secret, especially from the rabbit's perspective. Cause if she (we) wanted it to -really- be a secret, she shouldn't have told the trader and his mount, or the cheetahs. Why suddenly change that tune now?
As for the 'hint' a 'bad feeling' could be any number of things. But why in god's name would you keep alive something that gave you the willies in a situation like this?
I doubt the snake would be a good bargaining chip anyway. If the big boss snake cared about this one, she wouldn't let it run around by itself.

I just often assumed from the interactions Tayna was giving Kuva a lot that Kuva has the idea that rabbits and other supposedly prey species can't eat like Cheetahs or other predators. Kuva may see Tayna's attempts at acting as a predator not fitting with her views as insulting and naively stupid, only further worsened by Tanya's threat and Kuva eating her. Maybe Jabaro believes her more along with the trader or Daniel I think he was named, but Kuva certainly does not seem to want to believe Tanya can do it or is really offended at the suggestion that a rabbit can take her down and eat her.
But as a lot of folks here are worried about and as you pointed out, the question is that Tanya eat the snake safely without endangering herself. I feel she can eat it, but it might be a distracting thing to do with danger so close but Ark has pointed out that it looks like it could be quick process.
And it is true that Java may not give a crap about this one snake, but given the last page said that she somehow had people knocked out before she arrived, it is possible the little bastard and maybe more of it if she owns more are the ones might be sort of like a vanguard or scouts of sorts. So maybe eating the little bastard might be better, certainly reconsidered some things like the fact it can hiss and alert Java and that it could give nice vigor boost.
As to the bad feeling, I had the conflicting thought if Tayna is more scared of keeping it on her person or try and eat it and find out what its bite can do.

Well considering 'decapitate/kill' is like at 6% of the vote, it's not going to happen. So that's why I'm kind of leaning towards eat it now.
But yes, while that might be true, it could also be a good 'I told you so' moment and get Kuva to just back the fuck off. -Maybe- it goes worse, but I doubt it, considering the current situation. I doubt Jabaro would let Kuva fight with Tanya right then and there.
So at worst, it'll be a problem for -later-, I think.
But the WORST solution is to just cart the thing around like a bag of potatoes. Who knows how long that damaged fishing net will hold. Plus, if it gets out during a fight, that's one more thing to worry about.

Well it will make Kuva paranoid of Tanya wanting payback after dealing with Java... but it will get her to stop the smugness and actually start respecting Tanya. It might very likely aid in convincing her that Tanya is not a liability and can do pretty much the same as her and Jabaro.
Yeah, ya got a point there about the damaged net. If that thing breaks and we did not succeed in negotiating with Java and instead have to fight her, then it will make the fight harder. At least the net I hope can hold the snake well enough that it can't do much if Tanya does eat it.

Well it could go either way at the moment, looks like the vote's tied...but yeah. I just think it'd be better and easier to just eat the darn thing. Another little benefit, the stomach'll get more full too so there's less to worry about there, at least.
We can only wait and see now

That and the last time we ate something http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20772258/ And give a lot of boosts to our stats. Snake may be smaller, but can give quite a boost that could be needed.
In the same boat as you buddy in terms of how the voting should go. In fact, the comic has been one of the most exciting, suspenseful, and thrilling thing to check up on this year. Seeing the results after you vote even ruin the sense of all of that, never mind the curiosity to take a peek at what is in the led.
Sadly, Fidchell said he can't do much with the straw poll when someone asked about a similar issue you brought up there.

What if there's an entire army of snakes out here and Java can control all of them? That might actually explain how Java managed to clear out that entire settlement we passed through.
They all knew about Java so when they saw her, they ran like hell. Java had snakes hidden along the escape routes to strike at anyone that passed by, which would paralyze them. This would give Java the time necessary to calmly walk after them. When she catches up, she strips them of their possessions and keeps whatever she finds valuable. Then she either lets her snakes eat the ones she's already searched or she eats them herself.

Keep it alive but at very least try to quickly knock it out or discombobulate it, the.net is partially diegested and probably won't hold long, if we really need it down maybe use one of the poison dart's on it..
Plus if it is an anthro Naga big enough to eat several people I want there to be as much room in Tanya's stomach as possible
