Here's someone we don't see very much - Daniel La'Grange. He was originally created as the protagonist of a short story idea that later became the song "...And Daryil Answered" ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2160323/ ). He appeared in the booklet for that album, and got another song all of his own ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3012959/ ) into the bargain.
In-comic I think his only appearance has been at Daryil's ascension party. That might have to change.
Anyway, Merlin drew him as a warm-up sketch one day and sent me the lines in case I wanted to colour them.
Hmm... Daryil clan seems to have a very high proportion of dog warriors. Strange, that - I'll have to see about adding non-canine librarians or something...
It is a nice change to have a male border collie, in view of Sheila and Admaria...

merlin-the-bruce, colour by me, no thanks to my Wacom Bamboo which decided that today was a good day to die.

Merlin will shove rabbits in any free panel anyway. Like today's PF comic.
Raccoons are a good idea, need more of those. Bears... I have some weird prejudice against and tend to kick their asses in Skyrim or Bloodmoon. In Oblivion they're more powerful than the invading demonic forces so they kick my ass instead. Which might be part of the problem.

I think he's a hare, but I'm not certain. He's one of Merlin's characters: http://dhscomix.com/dcomics/dcomic.php?p=01
...but he's also one of the students in The Epsilon Project. He's an incubus in that, just a regular Halfie in the DHS comics.

He's a bit swamped by the teleport effects, it was more obvious in the original artwork.

Partly it's because DMFA is a cat-fest, but there are still a few. Especially snow leopards and jaguars. E.g. the whole robo-panther thing, Pandora, Jevex, Page, Keller, Yvonne, Kamdan and probably a bunch of others too.
Elyza. Matt...
In Epsilon I made a decision to have more female characters and a wider range of species, and that's something I'm hoping to continue with.

Yes. I have acquired a taste for kangaroos, probably because of Merlin's Sierra character (who has appeared occasionally). There's also Jirra Boomer - who died a quick but messy death in HYL but lives on in Merlin's DHS series - and the manager of the Happy Eater in DLR. It might be fun to have one in Daryil clan, but it has expanded to the point where it's hard to keep track...
I had forgotten how good that song was. Critical commentary left me with the impression that the 'Daryil Answered' album was a step into madness and the title track was the only good thing to come out of it...
EDIT: FA seems to have really gone off the deep end in terms of replying to the wrong thread. I swear it never used to do this.
