And now for two members of the Jay family - who are obviously blue jays - Mr. Jay and Billy!

Mr. Jay's full name is Edwin Jay, and he is the patriarch of the Jay family. He lives happily together with his wife, Gwendolynn, and his three children, Patrick, Jane, and Billy. The entire Jay family managed to escape the destruction of their farm, and ended up at Jacob's house before heading off towards the city. However, during an attack by owls, Mr. Jay and Billy become separated from the rest of the family, and are among the six animals, Jacob included, who eventually arrive at the city.

Mr. Jay tries to be the best father he can, as difficult as it can be sometimes. But despite the challenges, he wouldn't trade parenthood for anything. Billy is the loose cannon of the family; while his siblings are well behaved, Billy tends to be loud, cocky and mischievous. However, he gets extremely nervous when he's alone.
