"I hurt you, didn't I?"

When Charles was shot in the head by a mysterious sniper one night during a firefight it not only failed to kill him: but the bullet destroyed a growth wrapped around his amygdala that caused him to act sadistic and violent and cushioned the bullets impact from destroying his limbic system, the bullet meant to kill him ironically keeps the growth from regrowing and keeps him sane: being too deep in his brain to be surgically removed. After waking up from a 3 year coma, he had standard Amnesia and awoke to a drastically different world.

Then the flashbacks started, horrible visions of atrocities he inflicted on his brother, his 3 sisters, prisoners of war; he never felt empathy thanks to the growth: but after many fever dreams of his victim's faces mental breakdowns became common for Charles. He was going to commit suicide out of shame: but his power armor's nuclear from the war gave him liver, brain, prostate, and lung cancer: leaving him with only a year of life left. He is determined to right his wrongs, no matter how futile it may be, he was approached by a blue furred fox who has many questions about 7 soldiers in his platoon, maybe if he helps her it will set him on a path to redemption, I mean she is giving medicine to keep his cancer under control...

He currently works as a strongman for a circus as a day job and a bouncer for a strip club as a night job. Aside from murder, Charles is also a capable mechanic along with fact he would prolong the suffering of his victims with various medical techniques showing he has at least some medical understanding of the humanoid body. He is easily recognised by the "X" shaped scar on his forehead
