The first piece I got when I was in a very dark place, it was only literal way to tell anyone where I was, how I felt and what I was about to and yes almost did. The piece shows exactly how I felt, defeated, sadness, and all around hopeless. It was my first suicide attempt.
The second piece is the follow up piece, that I wanted to get to show myself that I know that I am going to be okay and that I will not go back to such a dark place ever again. To this date I have been depression free for 10 months and at least 6 of that is without medication. This piece really represents how I feel now, looking toward the light.
This Tuesday marks the 3rd year anniversary of my auto accident and it officially drops off my record and I could not be happier.
I might still have ups and downs, but I have become so much better at handling any moments that might take me down a dark path again. I have all my friends and family to thank for being there for me at my worst times. The Furry Fandom is my second family and I have a lot of people that I owe a huge debt of gratitude to for the things they have done for me.
