Looking through my old Pokémon card collection after at least 10 years, I was shocked to see some of the cards that I still had.
Of course these cards aren't mint, and some of them have a slight wrinkle or a scratch on them, but all in all they're still in fairly good condition.
Here is just a few of the cards that I put in solid plastic cases to prevent any further damaging.
Going from left to right:
Murkrow (German), Pikachu (Japanese), Ancient Mew, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno (holographic), Mew (promo, holographic), Pachirisu (Dimond & Pearl Edition, holographic), Latios (promo), Latias (promo), Raichu (holographic), Eevee (promo, holographic), Vaporeon, Ninetails (holographic), Eevee (Team Rocket), Dark Vaporeon, Dark Jolteon, Dark Flareon, Meganium (Japanese, holographic), Polywrath (Japanese, holographic), Nidoking (holographic), Misty's Seadra (holographic), Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite.

The Mew and the Ninetails are the best of your collection! The Nine tails because it is shadowless in border and that makes it probably the oldest card there. Shadowless border cards were some of the first printed. The Mew is a funny story, it used to be pretty common but now is pretty rare to find in good condition. I got lucky and got one at a swap meet at some convention years ago!
