Alright lets break down the structure of the Rollerblitz track and recap the system.
The Rollerblitz banked track is velodrome size, big enough to have 15 players of each team on the track. it can be outdoors or indoors. and can have its design depending on the major city, team, or event. it will have action on every corner. the railing is the east mid point of the track where skaters or riders can get knocked over by their competition. other parts of around it are padded barrier walls to prevent the ball from going out of bounds and have wall 2 wall brawl action.
The entrance ramp is where the 4 competing teams enter the track its on the west side of the track they do this 1 team at a time. once the team haves entered the track have their little entrance they set up shop in one of their infield team dugouts on the track. the 5 starting skaters line up at their own teams starting line and goal post while the 4 starting riders are few steps behind them. the skaters take off on the first signal, the riders roll out on the second signal, then the rest in the dugout join on the action on the third signal. the action under way.
the game scoring system has many point scoring opportunities. there are four ways a team can score points for their team.
1.Skater/Rider Takedown: a 1 pointer goal kind of like roller derby, where the players have to take down opposing team skaters or rider by any physical contact. and lap them
2.The Wall Climb: a heavily elevated slightly lifted bank wall on the North side of the track where the Skaters can optionally do this to score 2 point for their team. they must pick up enough speed and momentum to climb this wall successfully. which can be done by doing a whip or a sling shot with another team mate to gain a boost or grab on to a tow cable of one their teams motorbike near by and let go at the right moment to climb the banked wall.
3.Ramp Jump: there are 2 ramp on the south and west side of the track. the skaters can jump this ramp to earn point based on performance. 2 pointer if they perform a big jump, 1 point if its a not a big or safe jump.
4.Rollerblitz ball goal: a big scoring objective in the game, a air cannon will fire a grey football/rugby ball at the padded walls in the track. the skaters objective is to gain possession of the ball and complete three laps while keeping hold of the ball and not let the other opposing skaters steal it or make the said carrier fumble it by any physical means possible to turn it over. all 4 teams have three lap counts. the lap count goes down when the skater in possession of the ball crosses their own teams starting line. then at the third and final lap the carrier can throw in the ball at their own teams goal post to score 3 points
all four teams will have to repeat these 4 game scoring goals on every quarter, every set, until the game is over and the team with the most points out the three is the winner.
There are also minor penalty challenges but that will be discussed in another RollerBlitz drawing.
