I've had this particular thing done for somewhere over a month, but the following pictures took a lot of time. Probably because I put more effort into them, and it shows by the wacky disorganized formatting. BUT I DIGRESS
A forewarning: this part is perfectly normal, but the next two will contain vore oh holy smokes I was a weirdo THE ENTIRE TIME
I'm not going to draw digestion or anything akin, though. Not my fancy.
___
The ocean isn't exactly a safe place. Diving requires the most thoughtful preparation, with understanding and respect for the environment and the limitations of your equipment. No sane person would go alone, with an archaic suit design, in cold and deep water. If being lost, hypothermic, or asphyxiated doesn't do you in, you also get to worry about decompression sickness and other such wonderful things.
Or the wildlife.
It's a common practice in this fictional world for opportunistic pirates to dispose of old unwanted gear .. by ritualistically stuffing insubordinate victims into them, knocking their daylights out, and letting the ocean deal with them, with some shadow of a chance to survive. Some of the more unreasonably brave get the pleasure of getting doped up on narcotics, slowly eased to the seafloor to give them time to pressurize, and left to wake up to drowning a mocking death if they rush to the surface...
Seems like a certain hermit dragon stumbled upon one such victim. Water makes communication difficult, but flat tones- like a plated tail clattering against rock- carry extremely well.
... Yep, they're definitely out.
