that is kind of something that always baffled me when i was fursuiting...
the charity bucket would get waggled and waved infront of my face and i would be like " yeah just lemme grab a wad of money out from my tail! money makes great fursuit stuffing! hah ha haaa! "

Some fursuiters do carry money, but it's usually kind of obvious if they have a bag or anything that might contain it. I think people with the bucket just try to go to everyone regardless of whether they look like they'll contribute
I do like the idea of a money stuffed tail, though. Good emergency funds in case something crazy happens.
