A very sweet and beautiful YCH that my dear friend SeraphimDreams was kind enough to let me take part of and good lord I love it so much. ;~; This is our not quite a couple but are basically dating pair Lucien (the werewolf in the back) and Samuel (the mouse in the front). Luc is a middle aged war vet that lives on his own in a cabin away from the city with his loyal service dog Max, and now also lil' Sammy. He is just the sweetest little mouse there ever was and has helped Lucien so much with his depression and struggles with his PTSD, the change he caused is enormous and so positive. They happened upon each other by chance a number of times and it soon turned into Sammy coming over and then staying over quite frequently and old Luc has taken quite a liking to him. But poor Sam, he's been through a number of traumas and it has really taken a toll on him, namely the inability to go to places like hospitals, and the fear of being in a relationship. He has both mental and physical scars form his ordeals and Lucien tries very hard to keep his feelings to himself for Sammy's sake because he wants him to have a place where he feels safe and loved and none of the pressure of any sort of romance.

Maybe one day though Sammy will acknowledge or return his feelings and he can know what real love feels like.

TL;DR
Lucien loves that little mouse to pieces but SAMMY JUST ISN'T READY YET. So soft lovey snuggles will have to do for now.
