Upon requests by several "FA" members, I'd decided to update my "Same Shirt, Different City" gag one more time, by including Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the list of city names that were the subject of tragedy in the news (involving more unnecessary fatalities).
This will absolutely be the last comic in this series, as I have no more room on the front of Rob's "Boston Strong" T-shirt to add other cities. And I'm not going to turn to dark humor by adding a "continued on other side" message - making this cartoon a more sinister variation of my "Front & Back" comic series.
I think that the point is abundantly clear. We shouldn't live in the past, having rallies and riots that would lead to violence. Nor should we be afraid and intimidated by those who want to ruin of way of living through acts of terrorism. Let us all hope that we can reason with one another, and never have to go through another tragic year like this one again...
