Raised among the secret city of crustaceans, khiikrinsititosas was sheltered from all form of harm due to his species, he's a type of crab that never grows a sturdy outer shell making them always soft and squishy, and incredibly tasty, which is why the species is now endangered. he eventually ran away wanting to explore the world, and the first thing he wanted to do was change his stupidly complex name. because who the fuck can pronounce khiikrinsititosas properly anyways, so he now just goes by John.
shortly after escaping he learned that crabs, especially his species are nothing more than food and prey to predators and rich assholes, so he plans to take down a local crab shack that snatched up over 500 Cherryskin crabs, he accomplished this with the help of Squiddy and the Ringtail crew, and after quickly realizing the outside world was shit and his home city sucks he now lives a quiet life on Horseshoe isle.
he's the character defending the island with the other side characters and getting into all kind of wacky shenanigans while the Ringtail crew's all off on adventures, and is part of Aquata's group of friends
