Well lets see...

You definity have the right idea with the pose, but what I'd work on the most right now is your body proportions. Especially the hand sizes. You hand is suppose to be big enough to cover all most all of your face. Your feet even larger. And his arms and legs are too thin.

The chest area isn't that bad though, i would just make it appear more "round" than "square". And last off, his head is slightly too small to fit the proportions of the rest of his body.

One hand covers half your face. Your foot is the size of your forearm, minus the hand and elbow bend your elbow and wrist and your foot will more or less fit in the gap.

Just thought I should give some specific messurements, "bigger" and "smaller" don't really give a person a good idea of exactly what the size of everything should be.
