This is a quick drawing of my character, Phoenix. I did this mostly to practice horror art.
Phoenix is a dragon, although he doesn't look much like one here. Phoenix has the telepathic ability to project illusions into people's minds (usually one at a time, but he can use this to kill people,) he's also an expert at stealth and intimidation and, although he's pretty good in a hand-to-hand fight, he would usually rather scare people into backing down. He doesn't do this because he dislikes violence, on the contrary he loves it and he loves fighting, but he enjoys the power it gives him to win without having to fight at all and to make people afraid of him. He's often underestimated when he doesn't use this power partly because he's a small dragon, partly because he rarely shows his anger, and partly because he just doesn't look intimidating normally. This is him as seen by one of his enemies; he typically creates illusions to make himself terrifying rather than to make the victim imagine a new source for their terror. Phoenix is extremely sadistic and loves power, but he's also compassionate and tries not to indulge his desires if they harm other people. He is, however, vindictive, and once he considers someone an enemy, he greatly enjoys making them suffer.
