Made the mistake of scanning this in black and white, made the lines all choppy. I just rolled with it and did the colors on top of that. I now realize how much of a mistake that was.
BUT ANYWAY this came about from some thought about the relationship between a permanent self (or lack thereof) and the raccoon mask, and then just expanded from there into all sorts of stuff that reflects one side of that or the other. Fill in the blanks yourself.

I see what you mean about the choppy lines, but I actually kind of like it. Gives it an overall more grunge look, it that's the right word. I dunno. But regardless man it looks absolutely fantastic. I love the amount of compressed detail you have complementing itself within these borders. I love that the toaster is essentially the centerpiece, however it reminds me alot of that picture with the toaster in your lap >.> hurr
You got to fix that choppy with Photoshoppy ;) Seriously, it takes a little image correction to get things to look right. I've never managed to scan anything that was presentable without a bit of tweaking. It's such a hassle sometimes getting traditional art transferred to digital form :/ I can understand why so many people just draw everything on their computers these days.
