This is the new biting bit and reins I'm making for my pony gas mask here

I couldn't find a good one on the net, and I need small detachable rings at the sides so that I can actually slide the biting bit in and out of the mouth without ripping the rubber all the way through, plus I had all the materials already, so I just decided to make one myself. ^^; This one is going to be much better the the temporary one I made. I've always had a love of crafts. I'm good at building stuff from scratch without any prior instructions at all. =O3

Drilling a hole through a round peice of wood is definitely tough! Start out with a small drill, and slowly use bigger drills until you get to the size you want. Also, be sure to drill perpendicular to the wood: Look at one end of the wood:

Yeah, that's basically what I'm trying to do, but this might involve slowly pounding and screwing at it until I can get the holes all the way through, then using slightly bigger screws each time to get them the right size. I'll get it eventually. I've put the project on hold at the moment though. I'm sick. D:
Lol, you want me to finish this thing don't you? xD I'll see what I can do. ^^; Feeling a tad better this morning, so I think I might go over to Mom's where I can make alittle more noise and see if I can't get the holes in this stik already. ;p If it splits again, I'm simply going to have to ask for the drill or I might not have enough wood left. D: No clue how long it'll take for them to bring it too me if I need it. ><
