Lol because this person on Deviantart owns "Water Tail" dogs or something like that.
And its a closed species

and it's another species called Waterdogs or something ~

there are so many species that look alike that some people think that they shouldn't be a closed species because they aren't original, I do no agree, just because they are similar doesn't mean that the owner needs to give them up.
There were more comments about the species then then the actual picture when I posted it on facebook.

There's 2 ways people could have seen this;

1. The "Fish-Fox" Species by Magicpawed
and 2. Water Dogs by whomever.

You'll get that a lot in this Art World. I used to have a species too til an artist rubbed me
the wrong way; Now I just let it go and sold the character lol. Not even a species anymore.

But yeah people will try making things closed these days. Even just a Dog based off of anything..
Like Foxs and Macaws. Otters and macaws. Candy and foxes. Halloween and foxes.

Can't make Foxes and Macaws combined into a closed species then get pissed when others do it.
Its not like you owned a Fox and a Macaw from before the dawn of time so why even try xD
I learned my lesson about making closed species - so now i make things More special than what they simply are x3 !

Oh my god I relate to your struggles so much. One of my characters got me SO MUCH hate mail when I posted them that I actually considered taking them down but I left them up. I know this is an older post but I just wanted you to know you are VERY not alone.

Thank you so much! Yeah Austin got a lot of hate because somone trade marked the whole 'aquariam' animal thing and was a total twar about it. This was a custom, but still got a ton ton of hate because of the creators attitude.

Yeah, I caught a ton of garbage from the species parent as well for Beachy but honestly I just figured it would pass after a while (which it did!). Glad it seems to have passed over for you too! If you ever need backup, gimmie a ring and I'll help you out :)
