Name: Travis Summer
Age: 25
Likes: Soothing breezes, tight spaces, gum drops, building code
Dislikes: Conflict, sitting still, shouting, big words, being stuck in any place too long
Personality traits: Quiet, monosyllabic, simple, stunted, touchy
Bio: A bird of the road and freeway, Travis Summer tears through the cities of the United Territories of Terano atop a heavily customized, crimson super-sport bike. The biker is constantly wandering, taking the odd job every now and then - often working as a courier for various, often illicit interests. He asks very few questions, and often does as told...but it is unwise to upset or anger him by actively badgering him as he can be known to get violent.
Few think much of Travis as he speaks very little, and often in tiny fragmented chunks, as well as expressing frequent confusion at statements or logic that are often viewed as rudimentary or "common sense." In his high school years, Travis' grades were often quite abysmal, leading to many repeated grades as well as him eventually dropping out. But beneath this individual's seemingly dim-witted disposition lies a brilliant knack for programming - his coding ability capable of building sets of code elaborate and solid enough to rival that of the kind produced for super computers - even if he is often tripped up on the simplified GUI elements themselves. Sometimes, because of this impressive skill - Travis is paid for freelance hack-jobs - though at severely discounted rates, due to these employers often exploiting his simple obedience.
Travis wanders from state to state, never wanting to settle down or remain in any location for a period beyond what is usually a couple days. The avian's vision of home was tragically tainted from an early age, as he lived under the iron grip of an abusive father that beat and verbally assaulted him on a regular basis despite his sensitive condition. Travis' mother meanwhile, doted on him - providing him with a sense of solace and reprieve; but sadly even she was not safe from the wrath of the violent spouse. The conditions his family lived under were not exactly ideal, as Travis' father's profession as a butcher had begun to falter by the time Travis was born - leaving them constantly threatened to fall into the grips of poverty.
His classmates at school were oftentimes merciless as well, constantly humiliating, chastising, or outright exploiting Travis' allegedly imbecilic nature, save for his one friend, Mathias "Hep" Proux. Mathias acted indifferently and disinterested in Travis at first, but began paying attention when he introduced the bird to computers, and found him to display an impressive knack for building code - often times surpassing his own prodigious skills. Though Mathias rarely invested much emotional stake in friendships, he did manage to bring himself to care about Travis in his own way.
Sadly though Travis' sordid upbringing reached a sanguine climax when he finally had enough of his father battering his mother in one of his usual violent tantrums, and drove his own cleaver into his skull. Tormented by all that had transpired, Travis ran away - stealing a motorcycle before taking flight to the roads he would now call his home. To this day, he still keeps the blood-stained cleaver as a pockmark of what he had done - hoping that if he wandered long enough, he could forget all that had happened.
