Look at it! That balloon is planning something and I know it.
Just as soon as it gets close it will pop in poor little Tera's face. And clearly Tera is terrified for a good reason.
Always be suspicious of balloons they are scary and evil!
This picture is based on the fact that I suffer from a phobia of balloons IRL so I really kinda wanted to share my misery with Tera xP
And the pure fear in his eyes is just adorable in my opinion ^-^

Maybe you're too rough with them... Or maybe all the balloons you've played with were overinflated!
Right now, I'm playing with a 3ft balloon that I use since december, and I can tell you that it's still in one piece, but I never inflate it past 2.5 feets.
(I also have a 6 feet, I know you'll never try this, but if you want to try something, blow it to 3-4feet and try to gently sit/lay on it, it's really hard to pop it at this size, but it give you all the feeling of playing with a balloon.)
(After, I've read your two globophobic story, and I've get my popping phobia from my sister who was always teasing me to pop balloons near me (and eventually did) but I thought that I should go through my fears, and thrust me, it wasn't easy...)

As someone who's trying to cure my globophobia this picture saddens me, I won't lie it takes a will to beat it as I typically would have a panic attack of a balloon would come near me. I found the best way for me to help it was too buy a bag of balloons (I was bold and a friend told me to get 24") and I tried to blow them up, the first few times made me hyperventilate but after that I slowly broke out of my panic attacks but I still get really scared when I'm at a public gathering.
