Entry 1. Experiment setup.
Five tons of dirt, two tons of various stone types, fifty gallons of salt water, ten gallons of fresh spring water, one medium oxygen tank(sufficiently diluted to less than a quarter potency as per experiment and safe to breathe), two kilograms of iron, copper, silver, gold, and various other metal, ore, and mineral types each, one fluid ounce of oil and other various fossil fuels. Most of the materials to be used in a long-term experiment I've been planning for years, of creating a miniature, synthetic replica of our home world, but not just any replica; I aim to make it go from start to finish, of watching a full evolutionary cycle of the miniature world.
Truly, that would be impossible to watch it go for billions of years, but the chamber I'm to have the small world made in will have time accelerated to get through the prehistoric ages and hopefully able to last long enough to where civilization will start to form on its surface. Gravity won't be an issue since the chamber's also specialized to have gravity within it to keep the sphere together and to prevent it from breaking apart, with me being on observation platforms to witness the microscopic life progressing and even interact with it if given the chance.
Should get to work. Got a lot of stuff planned for this.

Entry 2. Day 12 of experiment setup.
Whew…the mini-planet's made, all resources scattered about on and under the surface, oceans and lakes formed, thankfully having made the 'crust' of the world tough enough to where it wouldn't soak further into the sphere. Oh, regarding that, had to make an artificial core for it, that would heat up the center of the world to where it'd be like normal temperature to those residing on the planet. Also had a light to serve as the sun, staying in one position as the planet rotates in the chamber to simulate a day and night cycle. Also decided to make a moon to serve as a factor for tidal phases, though ended up making two just for the sake of variety and because I had extra materials left over from the first one, having them orbit around the planet, which did look quite nice after the first few rotations.
Making the tectonic plates was more difficult than I thought, trying to have them appear natural while at the same time make it so that the world isn't stagnant in its movement. The continents I had to set them up similar to Pangea, back in the ancient times of my world, which will steadily spread out as billions of years go by. Earthquakes will no doubt plague the world, but it's inevitable when making a world like this.
Systems were put into place to try and simulate an 'open galaxy' for the planet, since no doubt that once societies end up advancing enough that they would look out to the stars. It was rather simple as I had to program the current star chart into that of the chamber, so that it'd show the exact same stars that I see each night.
Onto the third phase, introducing the first stages of life onto the world.

Entry 3. Day 16 after experiment start. Planet year '10,000 BC'.
Oh my, must have erred on my calculations in one area, but it turns out that it was a good kind of error from what all I seen so far.
The chamber had accelerated time like I had wanted it to once everything was in place, which would have finished accelerating the time of the world through prehistoric eras within a month. That would have been the time I checked up on it, but turns out that the error made the first 'era' of sentient life come to be within just over two weeks out in the real world, which caught me by surprise and had the time acceleration drastically slow down so I could record the results.
Suffice to say that it's fascinating to watch the living – yet rather puny – sentient life forms on my creation interact with one another, observing them through specialized equipment within the walls of the chamber, since I didn't want there to be 'satellites' orbiting the sphere just yet. From what I was able to catch so far is that the head species is of more than one kind of humanoid animals, of various other species of my world as per the DNA samples I used, thankfully most tribes I've seen so far able to interact with each member with little to no issues so far.
Not entirely peaceful though since I ended up witnessing some tribes fighting against one another using primitive weaponry, wanting to intervene but decided against it lest my interference cause a major and negative impact. Still, had to try something at some point just to see what the resulting effects would be, thinking of simulating an 'alien ship' crashing onto the world at some point.
For now, best to set the simulation speed down to around…five mini-planetside years for one day out here. At that rate, and if they're going at comparatively the same rate as civilization here, those on the mini planet should be more civilized within two or so years out here.

Entry 15. Day 474 of experiment. Planet year '7,630 BC'.
Been doing some relatively minor entries over the past year and three months, namely of keeping tabs on some of the more major tribes. They have been starting to develop into slightly more prominent tribes, some outside of the scientific community would refer to them as civilizations. Still, it's good to see that life is progressing so well on the planet, already seeing different cultures among each group and where they chose to settle down.
One thing I noticed is that some individuals would be a touch larger than those of their groups, though not by much from what all I seen so far. Still, seeing something like that could be a bit worrisome if future generations resulted in larger and larger offspring. Despite the size differences between the rest, some have been using their larger forms to their advantage, usually in hauling heavier building materials or bringing in larger kills from hunting, both of which have shown to be quite beneficial to their clans so far. Personally hoping that the size increase is a very slow one and doesn't go to extremes, but I'd have to knock on wood on a daily basis just to keep that hopeful thought up.

Entry 21. Day 827 of experiment. Planet year '5,865 BC'.
Over two and a half years since this experiment started and the results so far have proven to be infinitely interesting each day. I may be playing God here, but I believe I'm not hurting anyone when it comes to this, only satisfying scientific curiosity of a miniature world with thriving civilizations on its surface. Regarding them, each of the major ones have been exploring the continents of the world I've made, the maps I see showing them with bits of inaccuracies since they believe the world is flat. Funny, given that my kind initially thought that for our world at first until it was proven otherwise.
Related to Entry 15, the growth of the 'giants', as I'm calling them, has continued, the largest ones I've seen so far being just shy of twice that of normal individuals on the surface so far. I'm worried about the potential destruction that future generations would do once they reach large enough sizes, but since it has taken roughly…two or so thousand years in their time to reach that size, it does seem that the growth of them is thankfully slow. Calculated that the size they'll reach once the 'year' there is around the 2000s AD, they'll be larger than five stories in height, though could be further than that, though look to be far lower in number compared to the normal folk that I've seen so far.
Socially, some civilizations – despite being rather primitive compared to the one I live in – have shown to be diplomatic in nature, while some more pursued in scientific interests. Of course, there's always gonna be the several that want war, even witnessing a rather bloody one between a larger empire against a few smaller ones. Much like before, I wanted to intervene especially since larger individuals were getting involved in the later half of the wars duration, but didn't for the same reason stated in Entry 3.
Glad that I've taken the time and effort to carry through with this experiment, more so to watch a whole world live and grow in my lab.

Entry 30. Day 1,407 of experiment. Planet year '2,965 BC'.
Nearly four years since I started this experiment, and good lord those on the world are getting to the point to where I wish I made a way to where sleep is no longer a requirement for me.
Over the months since the last notable entry, I've watched entire towns be founded and grow, empires rise and fall, dynasties form and fade, all with almost no interference from me to help or hinder developments of each. Regarding interactions, the most I've done is make tiny pebbles into equally tiny meteors, some roughly the size of a speck of dust to me if only to ensure that they wouldn't end up doing catastrophic damage to the planet and thus do irreversible damage to it. The damage they would do would be saddening if they struck a town yes, but at the very least they helped ensure that not only would the worlds empires have something to investigate, but would also help me find out how they would react to it and the events following their impacts.
Suffice to say, one empire had taken a fancy to them, some of their leaders saying that 'they are gifts from the gods above, holy artifacts sent to test our devotion to them'. Nonsensical to me, but at the very least, they are a rather interesting bunch despite finding large chunks of stone. Least, large to them.
Regarding the state of the world, it's holding fairly well despite the 'meteors' I've sent down over the months. Resources that I've planted were often renewed a bit by the impacts, given that when they were found and could be utilized, had mines established around the areas they were in. The 'currency' ores I put, the copper, silver, and gold ores, were predictably used as currency for most of the empires that currently existed, while others used different forms of it for their economies. Cultures were still just as varied as a year back, which most would also clash against others that were too radically different from each other.
Last bit, to serve as an update for the 'giants' of the world; Their growth is still continuing onward, their numbers obviously much higher than the last noting, but still insignificant in number compared to the rest of the world. Most are often utilized for war though, since the average is starting to near a large house in size on the world, meaning they'd be effective as siege weapons, while those who didn't fit such were often killed to serve as a large injection of meat to some of the more crueler of civilizations or used as slave labor, which itself is surprising given the vast differences in size between the giants and the rest.
Due to this, most have taken to forming clans separate from empires that sought to exploit them, attempting to live in isolation from most of the world. It saddens me to see these kind of developments happening, and as much as I want to try and intervene and help bring them down towards a more normal size, I'm afraid that the gene pool of the growing giants have gotten to be far too varied for me to form a solid solution for such, based on the lone individuals I ended up grabbing when they were isolated and didn't want to affiliate themselves with anyone else. I had to use methods that made me and my tools invisible to the denizens of the world, once I set the time scaling to a normal setting so that I didn't end up accelerating my own age unintentionally to extract the isolated individuals from the world, much to their surprise.
Contradiction there, saying that I didn't want to intervene but I had to do so if I wanted to find out more on the 'giants' and how they have been developing over the years. They would be smaller than dust to me, but they would be as valuable as gold due to them being of my creation. Most were quite shocked to see me and my lab when they were brought out, based on some instances I've recorded of them, the languages they spoke being relatively similar to our own but would still require translation. There was one thing they almost all shared though that did make things easier for me of sorts; Their complete hopelessness of ever being able to fit back into the societies they grew up in, which would supposedly make integrating them into a different one easier, away from the prejudices that their kind have suffered over the years on their home world.
This though presented a bit of a challenge; Making a habitat for those I bring off of the world if they wish to try and have a different life outside of the one they grew up in. I had to get the required materials for the more basic of essentials, the technology I had most likely either impressed or scared the more primitive beings. It would have taken a couple days or so to have a bit of a village set up for them, but thankfully they easily adapted to such a different environment, far faster than I initially predicted.
This entry's far longer than the others I've done so far, so I think I'll have to cut this one for now. Will try to pick up where I left off once I'm done getting everything needed set up.

Entry 38. Day 1,824.5 of experiment. Planet year '887 BC'.
Over a year has passed since I started to bring the 'giants' from the planet, but to them if they stayed on their home world, more than two thousand years would have passed. Still, glad to report that they have accepted the rather drastic change quite easily. Unnervingly so, but I guess it's because of them having been abused for most of their lives that they wanted anything to get away from the tyrannical empires that exploited them.
Those on the world though have still grown both in size and number, the latter especially due to those that lived in isolation from the rest of the world. The average size has gone up another story now, taller than the roofs of some manors or multi-story buildings, the ratio of normal-sized individuals to giants I estimated to be around…one giant for every eight thousand, five hundred normal individuals now. The worlds population is reaching around fifty-five million as of this entry, so there would be roughly six thousand, four hundred and seventy giants among the surface of the world, if the ratio were to hold true and when looking past the ones I plucked from the world that didn't want to live on it anymore.
Regarding them, some societies of the world have some giants living among them with little to no issues, often letting them help with any construction that requires aid. Coexistence like that always brings a smile to my face, more so when I see the larger individuals interacting with smaller, younger ones, showing great care despite their obvious size differences. Still, the amount of civilizations that willingly accept them is of a smaller number compared to those that would rather hunt them down than to let them near their cities.
To the world itself, it's currently – as of this entry – in an age that's remarkably similar to that of the 'Age of Iron' from our worlds past, seeing works of art and weaponry that were made mostly out of iron, even structures were looking far more sturdy and secure with iron supports mixed among the stone and wood constructs. Of course, homes weren't the only thing benefited from this kind of advance, seeing that numerous forts erected among vast countrysides were equally fortified with the metal, more so among one war-hungry nation having a couple forts made out of almost entirely iron. This surprised me a bit, since I didn't think that any one civilization would figure out a technique in manipulating iron well enough to make solid structures out of them, let alone find a vein large enough to allow such. Suffice to say, the world just keeps bringing me surprises, dubbing this little empire the 'Iron Empire'. Unoriginal, but fitting given that discovery.
Back to the main topic, the world has been progressing rather nicely over these last few years, some empires having established dedicated trading routes between one another, oftentimes having an escort for some of the more precious cargo. Others would be working on merging their empires into a newer, more powerful empire. Politically, there are a number of alliances between one nation and another, while others are trying to manipulate others into their sway or into declaring war on their foes. Should that fail, there would be assassination attempts to plant a puppet in the place of the target. Vile, yet still rather interesting nonetheless.
Should cut this entry and consider it done. Still have a good bit of work to do, especially with having to manage both the main planet and the budding colony of former residents.

Entry 46. Day 2,000 of experiment. Planet year '0 AD'.
Five and a half years…
That's when this journey of an experiment started. To the planet, it would have been billions of years, plus the ten thousand or so years leading up to this day.
Most scientists that undergo this experiment would try and force the development of such a diverse biosphere to go in an unnatural direction, which would most likely result in it not living up to their expectations and thus lead to the disposal of it, wasting the lives of all those that lived on the miniature planet. That, admittedly, was something I wanted to try but declined on doing so, since it would be a waste of time, effort, money, and materials.
Oh, regarding that, never really did write on why this experiment was being performed, in all my excitement…this was a government-financed experiment, of them wanting results of a contained and miniature synthetic world, yet one that's originating from our own, given the DNA samples that I…we…were provided. The reason for such is that…our own world is slowly but surely dying, and since space travel isn't readily available to each of us on this world, thanks to the damnable and so-called 'elite' of the world, I and the rest of my team was tasked with this experiment to see if it was possible to create habitable yet miniaturized planets that are capable of sustaining life. Ironic really, given that we have access to technology that can not only house these mini-planets, accelerate or decelerate time, and even alter our very size, yet we can't just launch hunks of metal into outer space just so that we can survive…
I never undertook this whole endeavor by myself, even if I wanted to with fully automated systems to help me, but given that I was the one that created the whole synthetic planet by myself and was the only one permitted out of the entire team to interact with the world and its inhabitants, it may as well have felt like I was the only one on this whole experiment.
Personally, I just wish that those pricks that can only see green currency take their cash, fold each bill into fine points, then shove 'em. I was more than happy to partake in this, but since it's being done mainly cause of them being far too fat and selfish for their own good, I've felt a deep feeling of disgust, knowing that any world that is to be made past this would be used just to keep them alive, the rest of the people being a secondary and yet optional goal. If they really did care about themselves, I'd gladly let them try and live on the world made so far, their 'landing point' being right in the middle of a clan of giants on the planet, then watch those bastards be either enslaved, made to be snacks, or reduced to a red paste.
Ugh…all of that aside…the miniature planet is coming along nicely, starting to enter the 'Anno Domini' time periods. Clans of giants that were formed out of the desire to be isolated from major empires have grown – metaphorically and literally speaking – to house more of their kind, with some starting to coexist among greater empires, but there's one thing I noticed about them now that I seen it as per this entry; They have far longer lifespans than that of the normal-sized beings of the planet, ones that I've seen since the last notable entry still being around, close to a thousand years in age or even older. This is possibly the reason for their low numbers compared to the rest of the world, since it takes far longer to be of age and then to die of natural causes compared to the normal rate of growth and development.
Current population of the world is currently around three hundred and fifteen million, higher than that of our worlds past, with the ratio between the normals and the giants being lower than the last recording. Estimated ratio now is one giant per fifteen thousand, two hundred and fifty normal individuals, which would put the formers population at roughly twenty thousand, six hundred and fifty strong.
Current population of the colony I've been working on this time of those who don't wish to try their luck with the civilizations though has reached close to three hundred members strong, thankfully all able to get along despite the older generations being relatively smaller in comparison to the more current time ones. They've all adapted surprisingly well to the vast jump in technology thus far, which still puzzles me since none have gone into 'Future Shock' as I've heard. The rest of the team is aware of it but don't bother trying to fiddle with it since, welp, obviously being that I'm the only one that knows of their needs and wants. Fully accurate translations were done a couple months ago thankfully, so it was far easier to understand what the tiny 'giants' want. With each new individual though, the need to keep the translators updated also rises, something that's relatively easy to do since it's so interesting to interact with those I bring out.

Entry 59. Day 2,028 of experiment. Planet year '140 AD'.
God damn it all…
The government pricks are getting impatient now, which is surprising that they waited so long up until now. They wanted results, which I've been providing to them all this time. Yet, being the greedy bastards they are, aren't satisfied with the current results. I kept telling them that the mini-planet will continue to advance in both age and technology, but they didn't even care about the fact that there were millions of others already living on it. Some even went so far as to say that they wanted the planet scorched of all current civilizations and made clear for them, something I would have vomited blood in response had I been terminally ill. Seriously, fuck all of them for being so ungodly selfish that they want to commit genocide just so that they can have some space to themselves. The ones on the miniature planet may be smaller than dust compared to us, but I have seen with my own eyes that they're far, far from worthless.
Thanks to them, I was starting to formulate a bit of a plan that would not only help the residents of the tiny world, but also help everyone of my world to be rid of those parasitic bastards. As of this entry, I have decided to fully revoke my intentions of keeping interactions to a minimum past the colony I've been making, sneaking small monoliths onto the surface of the smaller planet that would hopefully help speed up their technological growth by a factor of three, maybe even up to a factor of five. I had to keep these kind of interactions on the quiet side lest the others catch on and thus deem the experiment a failure due to my severe tampering with the civilizations. This kind of thing will easily send shockwaves throughout the whole entire miniature world, but the monoliths will not only make sure they have the knowledge, but also the materials required in order to advance them quickly up the tech levels, hopefully ending around where our technology used to be at the dawn of the twenty-first century.
Only feeling I could feel at this point was absolute disgust at their greed, as well as myself for putting this plan forward. I wanted them to keep their noses out of this experiment for its whole duration, as well as keep myself from tampering with the world further than I already have, but they ended up pushing me to this point, and it's something that I'm going to reflect back at bitterly for the rest of my scientific career.

Entry 63. Day 2,073 of experiment. Planet year '365 AD', possessing technology suited for '1,125 AD'.
This plan, while vile to me, is working rather splendidly. The monoliths have been working all too well, advancing technology growth on the planet at the planned rate, already having cultural works, structure works, and weaponry that was suited for the twelfth century. What surprises me is that the denizens of the world are adapting to the sudden advancement in technology very easily, already making inventions that aided their respective cultures and empires. I guess another miscalculation was made at the start, making it so that they were highly adaptable to whatever changes come their way. That would probably explain why those I brought out were quick to get used to a far different environment to the one they grew up in.
Besides that, I watched as more towns were formed and even entire shipping lanes were formed over bodies of water, seeing the different styles of sailing ships traversing the oceans and founding colonies on far bodies of land. Yet another discovery here, one I should have noticed far earlier; If our world were to be measured from the starting and finishing point all the way around, it would have over forty thousand kilometers if measuring the circumference. The miniature world is to replicate that, but seeing the size of the tiny denizens on it made me realize that they're just a quarter in size in comparison to what I thought they'd be, which would make their world to them four times what I initially thought, if the measurement systems are of the imperial and metric ones. That would make the world – to them – roughly one hundred and sixty thousand kilometers in circumference, if the average individual were to be six feet or one point eight meters in standing height.
While that little discovery, pun unintended, did show that they wouldn't have problems with space for a good while, part of me was worried about something, namely when the technology advancement ends up getting to be too fast. At this rate, two thousand AD tech would be far, far higher and more advanced than what we currently have, and that's not the least of my worries.
What would happen if the world met their God? How would they even react?
Those two very questions will no doubt haunt me, even up to the point of the reveal.

Entry 70. Day 2,128 of experiment. Planet year '640 AD', possessing technology suited for '2,500 AD'.
Good god, they…they advanced so…damn…quickly…
I severely underestimated the growth of technology when it came to introducing the monoliths. I figured they'd help advance the world up to where they had twenty-first century tech at this point, not to where they're borderline level with our own. The rate of this advancement is horrifying to me at this point, and they just keep going further now, no signs of stagnation or even regression due to religious beliefs at all. Not even a Dark Age happened, where technology use would have certainly declined back to near tribal levels. They just…keep advancing onward and outward, exploring all that there could possibly be in technology. That's not what's got me terrified.
They're aware.
They know that the stars they've been seeing all this time are fakes. That they're in the very chamber that their world resides in and not just open space. That I've been watching them this whole time. I even panicked when I saw that the system was being hailed by one of their main leaders of the world, having united as one nation due to their desire of scientific discovery. That was last week, and I've got barely any sleep due to it. I had the time acceleration of the chamber shut off, letting time go as normal in the chamber of the miniature world. Despite the hails, I've declined them all due to my fear of what would happen if I even responded back.
Not only for my safety and their own, but I'm not even sure how the government here would even react to this discovery.

Entry 71. Day 2,129 of experiment. No longer tracking planet year or technology level.
They…they contacted me again. I responded. Said that they would wait until I calmed down, which easily implied that they had likely hacked into the security of the place to see what it was like. I wanted to raise an alarm after that response, but I just…stopped caring, I guess. I figured I'd just roll with whatever kind of monstrosity I made and hope for the best.

“U-um…hello…?”
“Greetings.”
“Y-yeah, hi…and stuff.”
“You sound rather nervous about this.”
“…”
“Is there something bothering you?”
“Yeah…a lot, rather…”
“Is it because of your superiors?”
“I–! Gk–?!”
“Please, inform me and my fellow people of the purpose of this 'experiment'.”
“I…don't think I can…”
“Why is that?”
“Because…because I…”
“You're afraid, aren't you?”
“I-I…yes.”
“Care to tell us why?”
“…I…think it's best I show you. They're gonna find out about this anyway…”
*silence save for keyboard inputs for roughly thirty minutes, sounds of unease and nervousness occasionally sounding out*
“Interesting…So you're indeed our creator?”
“…yes.”
“Yet you don't wish to view yourself as some kind of god, initially wanting to do this out of scientific desire to watch a whole world grow and develop?”
“Yes.”
“But – and correct me if I'm wrong on this – you're not enjoying this as of late cause of the politically and wealthy elite pressuring you, as well as the decision you made prior to this conversation?”
“…”
“Is it?”
“It is…”
“Is there something we could do to help? Some of our people are more than willing to help thanks to what all your notes have revealed, more so on your kindness to those you've taken into your colony.”
“I…I do, but…would rather send it as a message, since there would no doubt be someone else listening in. Have to keep all of this between us since I'm not sure how the rest will act.”
“Very well. We shall wait to see what you have intended in the near future. In the meantime, take some time off to help calm your nerves.”
End of audio playback.

Entry 73.
Welp…the day has come and most of the government officials are present in and around the lab facility. They're most likely gonna transport the container out of the lab – with utmost care due to my insistence – and to a more open area to allow all the selfish individuals to be transported to the miniature planet. They're unaware of what's going to be waiting for them though, but rather not say lest someone gets nosy, so I'll wait until it happens before writing it all down.

Entry 74.
Good lord…where do I even begin with this one…
The plan. What I told those on the miniature planet to do.
Since my superiors expected me to just wipe out all sentient life on the planet and leave it ripe for the taking by those selfish pricks, I told them to try and evacuate to somewhere else. Since they were more advanced than even us at that point, they agreed to do so, opting to warp all members of their home onto the worlds two moons. I was glad to have put them in orbit of the smaller planet at the time, since they would serve as evacuation points, as well as hiding spots since they would have any structures they made blend in with the surfaces of the moons. I was initially worried about such since the moons were of a smaller size compared to the planet and lacked atmospheres to them, but the leaders assured me that they'll find a way.
It worked like a charm, since when the financial and political elite were starting to be transported to the surface of the miniature world after size reduction, they only saw the supposedly abandoned ruins of those that used to live there. I was forced to come along for the ride since they felt that I 'should see the fruits of the labor up close'. Much as I wanted to voice my disgust at such, I had to stay silent lest some of the military personnel that were attending at the time would have shot me.
Still, seeing the structures up close, having been made to look primitive as part of the plan and to show what they looked like in the past, impressed me as well as some of the more artistic snobs that were part of the groups to try and live on the smaller planet. I did agree with them on some points, though despite the agreements, most of the snob bastards ended up giving me a glare that shown their hatred for anyone that wasn't them. After a bit, I was made to be like a form of guide, given that I knew a lot more about the world than all of them, which did surprise me at first before starting to head towards the former capital of the region.
Transportation had to be brought in to reach the capital at a far faster rate than walking, though whether it was from that or cause the so-called 'elite' weren't used to simply walking was something that I still haven't found out yet. Still, we managed to reach the capital within an hour, further impressing me given the architecture that was used as part of the plan. It wasn't exactly accurate compared to how most buildings and cities were in the past, but it was convincing enough to fool those that were present and those coming by the dozen per vessel.
It took a few hours of those coming in and some construction and demolition crews being used to clear out the 'ruins', but foundations would be set to make a form of state-of-the-art luxury resort for each of the selfish groups that were present. Thanks to our tech, construction didn't take too long and after the crews that built up the whole damn place were deported off of the miniature world with no form of compensation that the trap was finally sprung.
By the million, the residents were warping back to their home planet, the more combat-ready ones and giants warping to surround the large group that I was part of. Suffice to say, chaos quickly ensued once the military caught on to what was happening. I had to duck down once gunfire started to fly, which resulted in me not witnessing the whole event, though I did discuss this kind of event with the denizens first. They would have to go for less lethal means of subduing as many of the military personnel as possible, the snobbish elite would be no issue since they surrendered right as they realized they were surrounded.
Still, despite me ducking down at the time, didn't really spare me from the whole debacle. I'll let the audio recording explain what happened once the fight died down. Got plenty of others talking in it, so I had to label them so that it would be easier to discern who's talking.

Beginning audio playback.
1: “Torong! Put him down!”
*growls would be mostly heard, but the words 'Yes ma'am' would be heard among them, the sound of a large hand letting up once the held individual was back down on the ground*
1: “Are you alright?”
2: “Y-yeah…I think I am.”
1: “That's good. Apologies about Torong there. He's still considered a Tribal, but he was willing to be integrated into our society.”
2: “R-right…Are you alright?”
1: “I am, no need to worry. I may be the diplomat that conversed with you a few days back, but being such doesn't mean that I can't handle myself in a fight.”
2: “Remind me to n-not get into a fight with you th-then, Miss.”
1: “I think we should do introductions at a later time. For now, I think it's best that we make sure that all those that were accounted are still conscious.”
2: “B-but what about your kind?”
1: “Don't worry. Thanks to you, advancements in all fields, medical ones especially, will ensure that they'll recover from any wounds. Still saddens me that we lost some good fighters and other giants that were a good contribution to our civilization.”
2: “Th-they won't be forgotten, that's for sure.”
*sounds of a minor scuffle could be heard, some of the higher ranking members of the military group brought forth as well as the leaders that came with the groups*
3: “Maximeld, what the fuck is this about?!”
1: “He shouldn't need to answer to you, though I feel it's best that you and the others here explain on what in the world was going through your mind when it came to exploiting our world.”
3: “Fuck you, you overgrown pigeon!”
1: “Fen? Give him a little 'encouragement'.”
*a growl sounding like laughter would be heard, followed by the general of the group yelling out from being squeezed by the larger creature*
1: “Did you really think that you and everyone else that looked after only themselves, not batting an eye to anyone lesser than them, could actually carry out the genocide you tried to have Max do? He actively tampered with his own work, helping us and our ancestors advance rapidly through the monoliths he placed. He may have underestimated on how fast we advanced, but it gave us the required growth to help fight against people such as you.”
3: “You god damn traitor! Once HQ hears about this, they'll–”
1: “No, they won't. You're stranded here, since I've ordered my kind to block communications between here and your home. You might have thought that we were insignificant to you, but thanks to Maximeld, we're on par with your worlds technology, maybe even surpassing it. It's because of such that we made this trap, hiding on the worlds moons instead of here on the surface.”
4: “With that kind of tech…You mean you're going to invade our world once you're done with us?!”
1: “Can do, would do, but not going to. Unlike you, my kind no longer have a desire for war, instead wanting coexistence. That's why that, despite our kind varying in species for each member as well as differing cultures and even intellect, we live like as though we're one. Your kind on the other hand though, I've seen and viewed many recordings of people fighting among themselves, zealous in their beliefs enough to where they'd kill anyone that would dare try to defy them, your leaders included, acting almost like children most of the time.”
4: “But what does that have–?”
1: “That isn't the worst of it though. You and the rest of the selfish and corrupt even deemed yourselves above those that actively work to make sure that you get a meal each day. Enough so that you all felt that you needed this world all to yourselves, willing to condemn everyone else to die on your home world. Severely overpopulated, disease running rampant, crime almost unanswered, starvation claiming lives each day, and all that you and every other elite in society ever done to 'help' is dine to their misery. I've had all records about everyone that came here brought up, and suffice to say that each and every one of you save for Maximeld have done sins against your own kind for your own gain, jeopardizing lives left and right with no care about them in the process. Even the thought of a full genocide of my people didn't dissuade you from your selfishness.”
3: “You were but dust to us prior to now! It would have been like setting an ant on fire with a magnifying glass to get rid of you!”
1: “And yet you still wanted to kill us off, despite Maximelds research saying that we were fully sentient beings?”
*a moment of silence falls over the area save for the occasional plea heard from the rest that were rounded up*
1: “Maximeld…even though they're your kind, you said that you share no sympathy for those that wanted you to carry that act of murder out. Is that right?”
2: “R-right. This world and everything on it…I was fascinated by it all as it grew and aged, yes, but I never wanted to carry out what they wanted. Hell, I was willing to become part of the population at some point, since I would have been executed by firing squad for defying orders, and without being given a fair trial since the law is mostly bought by the wealthy.”
1: “Is that so? Well then…All those that were rounded up save for Maximeld here, I think there are some tribes out there that could make some 'use' out of them.”
*sounds of protest would easily sound out, screams as well as individuals were carried off to unknown areas, including the higher up officials*

Yeah…if I had to guess – and since that the civilization doesn't really cover every inch of the world yet due to the world population being at I guess around three hundred million – some of the tribes of giants out there would have some new playtoys or had a good snack once the snobbish bastards arrived. Can't say I feel sorry for them, but damn.
Anyway, the Diplomat, whom also seems to serve as the overall and highest-ranking leader of the whole empire of the smaller world, has made efforts to try and establish peaceful connections to my home world. Suffice to say, the ones she sent are rather effective once they've been grown to be around my kinds normal size and outside of the chamber that their home world resides in. The military would have involved themselves due to the intrusion, but after hearing the fates of those who were captured, they didn't dare try to provoke their wrath, especially due to the potential of the giants here being resized to their 'normal' sizes outside.
On the topic of that, the colony that I had back in my lab was brought back to the world, the residents of it, despite being from various eras, ages, and even dynasties, were able to adapt easily to the changes as per their inherited adaptability. They each thanked me for the generosity that I shown them in the past, helping them when no one of their time would. Once all of them had shown their gratitude, they each went their separate ways to find their way in the current setting, which left me hopeful that they would find their place in a world that was vastly different to the one they grew up in.
A very sizable chunk of people from my home world were more than happy to accept entrance to the smaller world, some even accepting the option that they would be made smaller than the average being, something that would ensure that not only there would still be plenty of space and resources after the influx, but to also further coexistence despite size differences. I did question it at first, but the Diplomat – whom I learned that her name was Teresha – said it wasn't going to be entirely such for each immigrant, so they had the right to refuse going smaller than most.
She did say that they had another choice once they got used to the newer world; To become a different species, to be like the ones here. The aspect of transformation was something that eluded most scientists of my world, but Tereshas kind have been studying about such for around fifty or so years. Least, when time was still being accelerated for the small world, but besides the point. She said that it is an option that only those who are absolutely willing can have, since the changes done by the first alteration can't be undone.
There's another audio recording here that would detail about such, as well as some other stuff.

“Maximeld?”
“Just…just Max, alright?”
“Right, Max.”
“Anyway. S-something on your mind?”
“Indeed. You've done so much for us and our ancestors, creating life on our world and even helped those that had given up hope of ever returning to a normal life. When things were getting rather difficult on your side, you helped give us the edge to not only thrive, but to also survive the possibility of a total extinction event. Even though that you've said you hated to do what you did, I can say that it was the right thing to do, since it saved all of our lives in the end.
“Yeah, but…”
“Don't hate yourself for it all the time. Even though you wanted to see our world grow with little to no interference, you did what you had to do in order to ensure our survival. I – and most likely everyone else here and your people – thank you for all you've done. All of this may have been done for the sake of scientific curiosity, but it's something that helped out everyone.”
“…”
“You wish to try it again?”
“Wha?”
“Do you wish to try the experiment again? This time with no interruptions?”
“T-t-try it again?! Bu-but–!”
“Don't worry yourself about it too much. Like I said, there won't be any interruptions in it, no need to tamper with the populace as it grows and develops. And, for a great mind such as yourself, you'll be given your own lab to carry it out in peace.”
“That's…that's very generous of you, Teresha, but…I'm not so sure if I can do another one.”
“You're not being forced to do so. You're free to start it up at your own leisure.”
“True…but still…”
“Take your time in making the decision.”
“…”
“Hey, do you still remember what I told you the other day? About the choice your people can make if they're fully willing to go through with it?”
“The alteration? Y-yeah, I remember.”
“I've been thinking…Since we manage to perfect these kind of alterations, I was curious if you would like to be among those to be changed? To become a different species, one that would suit you?”
“Wh-what?! But…I-I can't. I…d-d-don't even know…”
“Again, take your time in deciding. Whether to go through with the change or not is entirely your choice.”

Entry 75.
It has been over two years since I last made an entry, and looking back on all that has taken place did feel somewhat nostalgic to me. Teresha and her kind have managed to make it to where my people were able to fully coexist among one another, a large number of my kind living on the planet I have made, a sizable number of them having gone through the alterations to become like those they live alongside with. Twenty-one billion people, having lived in horrible conditions for years, easily welcomed the change that was brought by Tereshas people, able to live out the lives they wanted for so long.
Regarding myself, I was welcomed among the top scientists of both sides with open arms, and much like I was promised, I was given my own lab to conduct my own experiments in, with little to no disturbances save for the occasional visit from Teresha herself. Even then, we worked on projects together, ones that helped further our kinds societies some groups looking out to the stars once again. It's estimated that another three years would go by before we can make habitable ships bound for the stars, which is great since the stagnation that plagued my people was finally being lifted. The teleportation that her kind created to reach the surface of the moons was indeed handy, but was considered short range in the grand scale of things.
Culture-wise, it was good to see that despite the vast difference between our races, that there were little to no conflicts about them mingling with one another. Forms of entertainment were often showcased as one, entertainment industries flourishing from the fresh variety, artistic values made true works of art valuable again, and given that there were still separated tribes on the smaller world and the slow aging of the giants there, provided a good deal of history leading up to today to those willing to learn.
Problems that have plagued my people were steadily being taken care of, for those without homes were given temporary shelters to help get them back up on their feet, food and drink as well as healthcare to make sure that anyone that was suffering would be treated back to full health. Those that had lost limbs due to the lawlessness or from birth defects were fixed with synthetic yet fully operating replacement limbs, most of those who were handicapped overcome with joy at having their limbs back, even if they weren't truly like the real thing.
I guess it's suffice to say that…this experiment was a grand success.

A rather lengthy one-shot pertaining to an idea that has been bothering me for a good while now, of a scientist creating and tending to the growth and development of a far smaller and synthetic world, all the while watching the sentient life that forms go through the ages. Inspirations for this were of several pics related to the scenario here, as well as me playing a good bit of Civilization V over the past week. >3>
Anyway, this did tap into my inner-geek quite a bit, as well as having to learn a bit of history as well for the proper placement of the eras and such. Would like to add that I may have completely and utterly flopped on calculations in the first segment, so apologies if there are so many errors in that part...

As for the writting urge being iffy I can totally get that, I've got several stories on the go with a few thousand words in them that I've just left hanging. (They star giant and growing: crow, eagle, crab, goomba or a parrot in the main roles although other things grow too)
