This is whats been eating my life for weeks.

This is the fursuit I made for my girlfriend,  Rainafox

This is her badger persona, Freiya.

I used fur I have been hoarding for over a decade.
Originally, this was for my personal use. But I thought I had more than I did, and a pair of big brown eyes talked me into making her a suit...
So there might be enough left for me to make my own fursuit at some point, especially if I get creative in using more black and less grey.

We used more of my black fur than I thought we would- but black in decent quality is easy to get more of, and this grey with the really nice guard hairs is impossible to get more of, or match if I found any.

Ah well....
I always was a sucker for a pair of brown eyes....
And I regret nothing. :)


Freiya is a north American badger.
My current suit project will likely be a head and sleeves for now, with a halfsuit in the works.
My first suit will be a Eurasian badger.. And I should have just enough of a different grey to do the halfsuit..
With plans to eventually make leggings to wear under a kilt, for a Scottish badger.

I had a massive inspiration strike me saturday night, and I don't know if I can pull it off.
But eventually, I want to make a very special fursuit that will require some serious armor.

I want to make a suit of Lord Brocktree of Salamandastron, from Redwall.

This will require a realistic head, and right now I am working on a toonier design.

We'll just have to see if it can be done.
Especially now that my interest in and passion for costuming has been ignited again.
